NFL 2022-2023

I was hoping for the Trubisky deal. At worst it should keep the Steelers from wasting a 1 or 2 pick on one of the uninspiring QBs in the draft.
Trubisky can compete with Mayfield to be the most disappointing first round pick in the division. Even if he wasn't a first round pick of the Steelers.

I'm still hoping Mayfield turns it around. He seems like a decent, if brash, guy.

Don't know if this prophetic or just a Freudian slip, but some guy on craigslist here is listing a Kyler Murray jersey but calling it a Seahawks jersey. When I saw it I had to look and see if he'd been traded. Doubtful of an in-division deal but you never can be sure.

The local media had their heads wrapped around Tom going to the Niner's. Heck, Tom might rethink the Bucs after losing two key cogs on his O-line today. The real loser over the weekend was Jimmy G. The Bucs get Tom back, the Vikings sign a 1 year with Cousins. The Colt's were in the Deshaun Watson hunt but were shut down by the Texans. Jimmy G MIGHT end up there, but not via trade. I think the 49ers either keep him ( and risk alienating their young gun ) or cut him.

Interested to see how Trubiski is with a different QB coach and system. Saw him x2/yr for a few years. Didn't think he was bad, just midling. But he's young.
Exactly. The entire Bears squad has been inconsistent for quite a few years now, and Trubisky was just one of many Bears players that was up and down, and couldn't maintain steady growth. I'm cautiously optimistic he'll have more positives than negatives in the 'burgh. At least I'm hoping he does.

Ha, the Broncos gave away the farm to be the for sure third best team in the AFC West.

The contract for Randy Gregory is curious. Dudes a decent player for sure. But he has more issues than Life Magazine. I'd be shocked if he plays through this contract. DJ Jones is no Shelby Harris but he is an able run defender which the Donkeys needed :)

@MJ5150 I like the Steelers moves so far. The center delio is a swap.... Cole is ok in run protection but crap at pass protection. Kinda like what you had. However the James Daniels signing was a good one at a good price. He's a good run blocker as well as pass blocker. A lone bright spot on that Bears O-line.

ESPN signs Buck, Aikman to be new MNF voices.
Awww yeah, I love it. I will probably watch a game or two just because these two are calling it. Good move ESPN getting away from those jokers you've had in there the past few years. For me, it never really felt like a football broadcast at times. Just some social media hangout talking about football.
Lisa Salters is also keeping her sideline position, which I like as well. She's good.

Look out Denver, Las Vegas is making some moves to be the for sure third best team in the AFC West.

And Von for a BUNCH goes to the Bills.

Thankfully the Titans let Julio walk. The experiment failed. Unfortunately ( selfishly for me but I really am happy he got paid ) D'Onta is a Panther now. They run the ball schematically so I like the fit. He's a good guy and stepped up when the Titans needed him to. Now, a once filled out position, has two players. . . I didn't think RB was a draft need, until now.

Schobert hits the road and Colbert takes a chance on Myles Jack. I seem to have good memories of him from UCLA, then he went to Jacksonville and never heard from him again.
Next up, send Bush on down the road. He'd look good in a Browns uniform. :)

I'm liking what they are doing in free agency. They may not suck this year. A bit out of character for them to be this active.
