Great match tonight.

I'm sure eagles fans hate the tickytack holding call. It was a backbreaker.
But considering the Goedert bobble catch call right after the reversal of a clear catch, fumble recovery scoop and score that had exactly 1 more complete step with possession than the Goedert call, that's just an evening out of a few tough breaks.

Good game overall.

NFL officials have been fairly consistent in recent years making the point that they are instrumental to the results of a game.
I didn't see the game, so I don't know the play involved, but I believe KC also got to this game thanks to a key penalty from the opposing team. Seems fitting this one would end that way too.

I'm talking going back a dew decades, when everyone watched the game the same way - live, on the same station, and had to watch the commercials. Companies would based their annual advertising campaign (and budget) based on that one spot. There were prime tim specials previewing and reviewing them.

My wife and mom would watch the game for the commercials. It's been getting worse every year, primarily because it isn't the prime advertising spot it used to be.

Didn't watch. We're running YouTube TV and out internet has been cutting in and out over the past week (FU Spectrum). It was out from 5 PM until I went to bed. I did not have enough interest to set up the antenna to watch so I read a good book instead.

My wife and I both laughed out loud with the TMobile John Travolta Grease ad, but then thought how much cooler it would have been had Olivia Newton John been able to be part of that.

My wife and I kinda watched it. It was a fairly entertaining game, relative to a whole lot of games. Both quarterbacks are absolute beasts. Our television isn't big by modern standards and I was across the room with my glasses off. So, there were probably things I couldn't see during the halftime show, but the platforms amused me. I assume the dancers on platforms had fall protection, but Rhianna probably didn't. And her platform swayed a little. It didn't seem to faze her a bit. That's the kind of thing I think about and notice. I thought the dancers were amazing. The music was dull as a stump.

And here in the desert we currently have neither.

Murray is allegedly out until mid-season, and the Cardinals can't get a head coach to sign on.

I keep thinking maybe they were waiting until after the Super Bowl and will land Eric Bienenmy from KC, but then I remember, it's the Cardinals we're talking about. They'll settle for the 'next' version of Kliff Kingsbury.

No one is debating whether or not it was a hold. It's was, weak as it may have been. The issue that so many people have is the timing of it. The refs let them play pretty much all game and that's when they decide to throw a flag?

Then again, the NFL is now an establishing precedent of calling defensive holding deep in opponents territory with less than 2 minutes to go in the Super Bowl on a play that would have forced a 4th down.

And yes, the Eagles couldn't stop Mahomes all 2nd half so it's certainly doesn't all fall on that one play, but it certainly sours it a bit. Would have been great to see what Jalen could have done down 3 or 7 with 1:40 on the clock.
