Lions/Rams game was just fantastic after a weekend of lopsided duds. You can’t beat the storyline or the quality of play, and it came down to a game of inches with Nakua unable to make the final catch while St. Brown did. Both QBs were stellar and the team play was fantastic on both sides.
I would have been happy either way, but I have to admit it’s nice to see the Lions get the win after such a long drought. If more football games were like that one, I would be way more into the sport.
Also good to see the two young QBs in Houston and GB shine in the spotlight. I just can’t make myself care about college football and don’t watch it, so when the new talent enters the league I am starting with a clean slate. It’s always interesting to see who is going to turn out to be the next Drew Brees and who is going to be the next Ryan Leaf.

I think it's cool that Detroit won, but I was hoping for the Rams to win. I like Aaron Donald and Sean McVay. Then again, Dan Campbell seems like a good guy and Jared Goff as I remember him going back to Cal has always been a stand up guy. I think it's good for the NFL when Detroit is in the playoffs. As I also recall, Goff isn't even 30 yet so he has a few more good years ahead of him with how he plays.
As for today's games, I can totally see both home teams rolling to easy victories.
Finally, oh my would it be cool if the Steelers could lure Aaron Glenn away from Detroit to be their DC and next HC. I remember him from the Jets and he was way good at Texas A&M. Ain't no way in heck Tomlin would allow it, but Rooney should make it happen. The Steelers haven't had a real DC since LeBeau left.

Game over in Buffalo. Same old unprepared Tomlin team getting shredded. Calling the same running play to Harris that gets two yards every time, yet they keep calling it. Ignorant.

Naw, it was over back then. This is all just Buffalo taking their foot off the gas pedal because they know they don't need to play 110% for 60 minutes to beat Tomlin's Steelers.
KC? Baltimore? Definitely, so save it up. McDermott is smart and he knows these things. Just like Belichick did.

Of the 17 years Mike Tomlin has coached the Steelers, they have one more than one playoff game four times. That's 13 seasons of one and done or zero playoff games.

The only surprise in this game is that they were able to outplay the Bills early in the second half and get to a one score game. Why they can't start games with that focus and urgency is a question that has been out there for years. Most Steeler fans know the answer.
I'll watch the rest of the games, but with the Cowboys out and no Brady I have no favorite to cheer for or villain to go against.

I pretty much don't care anymore myself. Time for some snowshoeing and winter backpacking. Sleeping in a snow cave you carve out yourself is a neat experience.

Didn’t watch the late game, but just read about it this morning. I am not surprised. I have disliked the Eagles all year, feeling like they were this year’s version of last year’s Vikings. Final stats before playoffs:

Thought I was just unlucky, as the two games I was able to watch were blowouts... the Texans winning big and the Packers stunning the 'boys. I don't hate Dallas, but I enjoyed watching the Pack expose Dallas's defense in an embarrassing way.
Haven't seen much of Green Bay this year, so this was my first time seeing Jordan Love play. Damn, he made everything look so easy! If that game was indicative of his potential, good things will be happening in Wisconsin.
