The Cardinals hired former Eagles DC as their head coach and that worked out well. Going 4-13 in his inaugural season at the helm. ;)

All kidding aside, the team did play fairly well the last half-dozen games. Perhaps that was due to Gannon's system taking hold, the return of Kyler Murray, or both. Cautiously optimistic, we're expecting a better record next year.

That's right. I had forgotten. I knew he was DC in Seattle, but couldn't remember where he went after that. The Super Bowl choke was epic.

Similar here. Assuming the Eagles don't make it through, which I think is a good assumption, I would also love to see the Lions in the SB. I would almost certainly root for the AFC against either the Niners or Cowboys--especially the Cowboys. Ugh. I can definitely get behind Lamar and the Ravens.

Denver will be an ongoing soap opera and guessing game until the draft. I can't see any reason to keep Wilson other than they're stuck with his pay. He can play another year or tow, but at least with the Broncos, he won't do any better. The entire team is just not better than .500 caliber. Their #1 receiver, Sutton is no better than a #2 on most teams. Jeudy is a self-centered mediocre player who manages about one good play per game. They need O-line, D-line, receivers and a QB. Aside from that, gee, they're really set!

I think Indy will pay Minshew to stick around, but if not, I'd much rather watch him QB the broncos than watch Wilson. I think Minshew would beat out Stidham in camp. Unfortunately for Denver there really aren't any top QBs available other than Kirk Cousins, and you could kill an entire evening arguing whether he's a #1 or #2. They can't afford him anyway.

Well, they can't afford anything so long as they are paying Wilson. Darned if you do, darned if you don't when it comes to paying quarterbacks.

I'm hoping Harris finally realized that for him to have success, he has to keep running North and South. It seems like every time he tries to take it wide, he's tackled quickly. But when he hits that interior line hole quickly, he's had much better success.

As for Harvin, I can't figure him out. He'll hit a beautiful 60 yard punt, then the next time he shanks it out of bounds for 30 yards.

Harvin's punts routinely give the other team 10+ yards on average. There must be a few dozen ex-college punters watching the games on Sunday that could do a better job.
