Speaking of whimper, that fourth and goal from Lawrence was weak. Sorry bro, you're not at Clemson anymore. Those guys on defense are bigger and stronger than you. You ain't gonna reach that far.

From what I'm hearing at this minute Mostert and Waddle are out. I do not feel good at all about tonight. Maybe we can get more heathly before the wildcard game.

While Nick Herbig is not quite TJ Watt, he's a disruptor and ready to prove he deserves snaps. I think the Steelers will be fine.
Ahahaha, I just noticed Miami is saddled with Chase Claypool. I'll send a text to Tua and let him know not to throw a pass to Chase because he can't be bothered to catch it.

There ya go. Chase Claypool still jerking around Steeler fans and he don't even play for them anymore.
Was it a bad pass? Maybe, but Chase ran a terrible route, because after all, he can't be bothered to do that.
Sonofagun, Buffalo is going to smoke Pittsburgh, especially with TJ out.

As I said, I expected to lose. But good grief, Buffalo's first TD came on a pass that bounced off a Miami defender's head almost straight up in the air. And the second was on a punt return enabled by one Dolphin getting injured and thus blocking a teammate.

On top of that, Miami lost its best two remaining edge rushers during the game, and Tyreek Hill had to skip plays due to injury.

Maybe they can get back enough guys next week to win a shootout against a Chiefs team in disarray. But that's the absolute ceiling this year.

I still think the future is bright. Miami just has to get healthy and add depth for next season.

I was thinking the same thing while watching. Couldn't decide which one I'd rather visit next week, but thought the same thing as you. K.C. MIGHT be a little easier than Buffalo right now. But it really wouldn't matter. The Steelers will slink back into the locker room after the loss while the talking heads proclaim what an elite head coach they have. But after all, "The standard is the standard."

I WOULD love to see Mason Rudolph go on a tear though considering all he's sat through since he got to Pittsburgh.

Agree. He seems like a good egg, and god knows he's playing better than the other two by a mile right now.

As for the rest:
- Baltimore is the team to beat in the whole league right now.
- Buffalo is dangerous because they have a defense, and because Allen can get hot at any time. He can also turn the ball over like crazy, but when he doesn't...
- Cleveland can do some things, they have a good defense, and Flacco is the feel-good story of the year.
- Kansas City has a good defense, but no idea what's going on with their offense. Which is kind of the opposite of what you usually say about them.
- Houston - ya gotta like the kid, another feel good story.

- 9ers until the Baltimore game looked unbeatable. Still a favorite to make the SB.
- Cowboys are a threat when they are on.
- Eagles in free fall. WTH?
- Rams are dangerous, Stafford is an elite HoF level talent, and he has weapons. on any given Sunday...
- Pack/Saints...going in the right direction, but also kind of meh

The rumor mill has already started - Seahawks sign Russell Wilson again once he's cut by Denver? I sure hope not.

Lions - Browns in the Superbowl. My predictions are always absolutely correct, too, as you all know.

Detroit fans were happy and supportive of Stafford as the Rams went to the Super Bowl. I'm thinking they'll be less happy and supportive when they see him this weekend. :)
I'm right there with you @Jeff K on this weekend. The Steelers will get embarrassed and we'll all be reminded that Mason Rudolph is indeed a backup QB that happens to be the best QB on a team of backup QB's. Then yes, Tomlin will be lauded and praised for the wonderful season as we move on to eight years without a single playoff victory in Pittsburgh.
I'm curious how many current NFL head coaches are currently seven years between playoff victories. Without looking it up, I'm going to say zero. That's not a standard your typical NFL team finds acceptable.
