I felt really bad for the Lions last night. Number 68 was certainly TRYING to declare his eligibility to the ref, but the ref wasn't paying any attention to him. Although after that unfortunate penalty, I'd have probably kicked the extra point to tie it.

Yep, in hindsight that would have been the thing to do. But that call, at that point in the game, with the game on the line? The refs should have done better. It makes them look really bad. A replay would have shown #68 trying to report. It was the refs mistake, and it cost them the game. A game shouldn’t be decided by the refs.

We have the MIA/BAL game on the TV. I heard a commercial, don't remember who for, but it ended by saying 'the official wine of the NFL'.

As much as I dislike the Cowboys, I have to point out that the refs incorrectly called tripping on the Cowboys instead of the Lions' Hutchinson. Without that call, Dallas likely could have run out the clock.

I have to admit I don't remember that play. But yeah, there are bad calls in every game...

This Sunday I'll decide if there's hope for my Dolphins in the post season. A win or even really close game OK. A bad loss and it's time to figure out what to fix for next year. Hint (defense)!

Well. I have my answer. The only two over .500 teams we've played have both been embarrassing losses.
In the off season the staff needs to come up with a secondary that can cover somebody...........anybody.

I'm listening to the Steelers game on radio because somebody thought people in SW Ohio would rather watch Tampa Bay/ New Orleans.

Seattle had a great defense, no doubt. And I didn't see many of their games. That said, Russ was top 8 in QBR in 2013 and #6 in 2014, while also rushing for a combined 1400 yards those two years. It's almost impossible to win an SB without both a very good defense and offense.

Russ can have a stat award but he’s not a legit famer.

and I don’t retract what I said about Lamar losing a dimension, but maybe that doesn’t matter now. First game I really watched him today and he can fling that thing right on the money. I remember him once throwing for 300 yards in the second half for a comeback win. The guy can ball. And he, along with the ravens as a team, have a culture thing going. It means something to them to be a Raven (same with Steelers, that’s why they are the best rivalry in football). Lamar has electric talent in him and a good head. And he’s going to be one of the few players to win multiple MVP’s.

I saw the last few minutes of the first half. The Seahawk defense is doing their best to give it to them.
