The game was everything it could have been. The commercials were endless and confusing. I didn't know what about half of them were selling. Both defensive lines should have gotten MVP consideration.

I managed to miss danged near very single ad this year, and took a nap through the whole halftime show. Great game though, very entertaining.

Wife and I aren't much into football. So Super Commercial Bowls are about the commercials for us. She rooted for the Chiefs because her dad liked Kansas. I was all about the 49ers 'cause I liked their uniform better. I was listening to music and vintage comedy (Stan Freberg, Bob and Ray), wife was playing games on her Ipad.

Burgers, beer, and sportsbar food was an appropriate Bowl/Dinner thing last night.

All that said, the game got good towards the end. We both mostly quit what we were doing and started watching. Congrats to Kansas team and fans. My 49ers guys with the stylin' gold pants ultimately lost, but they fought the good fight.

Didn't care much for the commercials or half-time show.

I rarely watch the halftime shows anymore. In fact, I record the game so I can fast-forward through commercials. But during most of the first half, I did watch most of the commercials. Some were okay, but mainly so-so.

Skipped the halftime show and most of the commercials in the 2nd half. But I did want to ask if any of you have seen any reaction or blowback over Kelce almost knocking Andy Reid over? My opinion of him (Kelce) went down a notch when I saw that.

It was a good year. I was hoping for Lions/Bills but this was a good game. Kinda hard to argue with OT in the SB. Was pulling for the 9ers but the Chiefs won fair and square. The real prize was having a bunch of friends I’ve known for decades over to the house so I could feed them and yell at the TV with them, and on that count, the night was an unqualified success.

What comes next, the trades and coaching carousel, the talking heads bleating endlessly about possibilities…. Whatever. It’s all Steven A. Smith to me, and I’m pretty sure I know what the “A” stands for in that equation.

I’ll see y’all when they start actually cracking helmets again. Thanks for the hang!
