Yes, I suspect Bo Nix is better than his first game might show. Seattle has been good for a very long time and that's a tough place to be the visiting team. If the O-Line gels for DEN, Bo might get a chance to shine. But it ALWAYS starts with the line.
The short answer to your question is "No". Not coincidentally the long answer is also "No". For almost as long as I can remember the most popular QB in Chicago is almost always the guy on waiting on the sideline holding a clipboard . . . until HE becomes the starter and is instantly reviled. There was a brief exception when McMahon was QB but that was a team with a defense so dominant all that was asked of the QB was not to trip over his own feet (or those of his linemen) too often and just let the D do all of the heavy lifting.
I thought he looked pretty good too. He got cross with Wilson on a miss but that was thrown behind. But overall his arm and footwork looked good. Jets ain’t beating Niners with or without Aaron. They didn’t lose because of bad QB play. They lost because Niners beat them.
Seattle hasn't had a good O-line for a long time, either. Good enough at times, but certainly not top notch. They showed exactly that this past weekend. I guess the Seahawk offense will turn into three yards and a cloud of dust like the Big 10 in the early 1970s. It might be so different from what anybody else in the NFL is doing that they will get away with it. Like Army running a wishbone all these years after nobody else runs a wishbone.
Bo Nix is another QB I like to see do well. As an Auburn alum I watched in dismay as Brian Harsin came in and torpedoed both the program and potential careers of existing players - and Bo was a genuine *legacy* player at AU so that made it even worse. Bo was wise to transfer to Oregon and it was good to see him succeed. If surrounded with the right talent I expect Nix to do well in the NFL, too. Even top NFL QB's have trouble in Seattle, let alone a rookie making his 1st NFL start.
When you have Russell Wilson in his prime, the O-Line can stand to be mediocre.

There was a local HMO we called "Group Death." I had that insurance from an employer 20 or so years ago, and my knee had some issues. It felt like there was a piece of hot sheet metal jammed into the joint all the time. The doc told me not to worry, it would heal. Three years later, I had different insurance and it still hadn't healed. I finally saw a real doctor who wryly said that I could obviously live with it, so it wasn't a problem. But, if I didn't want debilitating arthritis fairly soon, I should probably get it repaired. The meniscus had torn and folded over. Sure enough, I have arthritis and no cartilage in that knee. The other knee is wearing out, too. I cannot completely blame the original doctor for the shape of my knees, but the fact that the left one is far more damaged than the right one probably has a lot to do with three years of unrepaired damage. I had an HMO at the time. The young doctor told me, "Well, you probably sprained it." I said, "No. Something snapped. There's something seriously wrong". He would not authorize an MRI. Gave me some pills and said to come back in 3 weeks if it wasn't better!
My right arm hung uselessly at my side for a week before I finally called him back and demanded an MRI, which he reluctantly authorized. I still had to wait another week or two before I could get it. I told him, "If I was a Memphis State basketball player, I'd get an MRI the day of the injury or the next day at the latest.
When I finally got the MRI, I got a call the next day. The woman says, "You need to contact an orthopedic surgeon IMMEDIATELY. Your shoulder is really messed up!" I said, "Gee, why didn't I think of that?!"
The surgeon later told me that he had to drill holes in a shoulder bone and an upper arm bone and use some kind of laces to tie it back together. Said on a scale of difficulty from 1 - 10, mine was an 11. To this day I'd love to smack the #### out of that piece of #### HMO doctor...

Yeah, I hope he's OK for the long haul. Miami's track record on rushing him back into service is not good. Bills showed up to play, Fins seemed disjointed and distracted long before Tua went down.Absolute disaster in Miami tonight. Tua throws 3 picks--the first wasn't his fault, the second seemed to be a miscommunication with a WR, and the third was awful--and the Bills cruise. But the real killer is that Tua got another concussion and had that zawful "fencing response" with his arms again.
Well, he's undeniably good--top 10 in QBR last year, and #3 in 2022, along with huge numbers. And he's normally very accurate, which makes him a great fit in McDaniels' system. But he's not very mobile, and he's had a number of bad games against the best defenses. At this point, I'm skeptical that he can ever be great, even if he were to stay perfectly healthy from here on out (which seems highly unlikely). He's an awesome person from all reports--Josh Allen said it after the game, too. So if the doctors say he should hang it up, he should go into philanthropy and enjoy the rest of his life.
He's 33-19 as a starter, so he's won about 63% of his games despite never having a great running game behind him and mostly average defenses. He had to miss Mami's 2022 playoff game due to injury, so his one playoff game was at Kansas City last season (in negative temps, no less). So yeah, he's 0-1.
