NFL 2024-2025

Oh my, that's embarrassing. Dragging some played out coach from the broadcast booth back to the sidelines. There are assistant coaches out there ready to take over. Atlanta found a good one, so did Houston and Seattle.
Try harder Jets.

Rex Ryan?! I didn't even know he was still alive.

Edited: My bad, read Rex, was thinking Buddy.

You are not alone. I've said it before, dudeberry should just retire and enjoy his ayahuasca retreats and conspiracy theories.

And then maybe we can stop having so many meaningless Jets games scheduled in prime time when nobody wants to see a non competitive game with no playoff implications. Sure, fire the coach! That was the problem🤣😂🤣

I can't say I'm much of a Shannon Sharpe fan once he stopped playing, but this commentary on Tomlin and the string of immature WR's that don't give it 100% on the field being his fault is, in my opinion, totally spot on. You created it Tomlin, and no one is buying into your bogus one liners.
Move on.
Oops, I forgot the link:

I like Raheem Morris even more now. He admits when he makes a mistake...
I take back my earlier comment about him.

Well, his first comment was that he thought Penix would have gotten the snap off quicker.

Morris has coached for 27 years. He’s not learning anything from yesterday.

If anything, it’s the opposite of learning. He threw players under the bus in Tampa Bay and it got to the point that the team got fed up and let themselves get blown out multiple games in a row until Rah was fired. That was 2011.

That game was no surprise whatsoever. In Tomlin's 17 years as HC, they have had 8 end of season collapses where they have lost 3 or 4 of their last five games.

We also now know for sure that Russel Wilson is not even the short-tern answer at QB. He's done. I wouldn't mind going back to Fields for our inevitable playoff loss.
R.Wilson really seems to have lost whatever fire he had early on in his career... BENCHED at Denver, and now a BIG FAIL at Pit.. he may be toast at this point? :rollno:

I forgot to add, the Joey Porter Junior story sure was a neat one, but he's not who he thinks he is. He's on this team because of his pop, but since his pop is gone, it's time for Junior to be gone too. He put forth a George Pickens kind of effort on a few plays last night.

Four straight losses for the Steelers and zero reason to believe they'll win next week at Houston or Baltimore. But hey, they didn't finish under 500. Eight years without a playoff win, about to be nine.
Mike Tomlin is a joke.
George Pickens is a joke.

But will the Steelers be looking for a new HC? Nope. The Rooneys value their record of HC longevity more than they do the standard of excellence that the organization used to have. Kudos to Shannon Sharpe (not my favorite person) for having the guts to point out Tomlin's worthless catch-phrases. Virtually all the other sports talking heads just continue to kiss Tomlin's behind...
