Eh, we've all seen inside an NFL locker room. It's a party in there, especially after the game is over. Players criticize other players in the locker room and talk trash about others all the time. The guy owns the team, signs all of the checks. I don't know what's so grievous about these allegations.
Are we hanging on to that whole locker room etiquette, unwritten rules, code of honor from days gone by? Yeah, it used to be that way but the NFL is more guilty of breaking that than Mr. Johnson.
Are we to conclude this is why the Jets performance on the field is not acceptable, because the owner let his family in the locker room and his children said negative things about the players who are grown men?

If players think it' an issue, it's an issue.

More revealing is their using Madden ratings to make decisions rather than doing their own scouting and analysis.

The Madden thing is perhaps to the extreme if it is true, but come on already. It's not like no one else besides someone with a job in an NFL front office can gather details and make football decisions. Take a look around the league and we can all see the bad decisions and mismanagement from 'experts' in NFL jobs. I find it kind of funny and revealing as well that these Jets front office executives are bothered by it. No, you can't sit in your fancy office in your fancy chair behind some veil of secrecy acting like you are part of some uber exclusive club qualified to make football decisions when no one else, especially anyone younger than you, is qualified. 20-30 years ago and more, sure you had to be a former player or have a lifetime of exposure to the sport to know what you are doing.
It's like this all over. Heck, even among musicians. Now you don't need to hire a teacher and go to a studio for lessons and to practice. Online courses and teachers everywhere. Want to be a boxer? You can learn than on YouTube too. I even had an email the other day, from a very reputable man I am sure, letting me know I could secure my own medical degree from home and then be a practicing physician. :D

Tomlin actually surprised me yesterday. Down by 10 in the second quarter with about two minutes left. They get the ball back to start the third. He played for a FG, signaling to me he had no interest in trying to win the game.Tomlin gave up in the second quarter, so did I and turned it off.
I'm not sure if they'll win another game this season.

I didn't watch it, but I tracked it on occasion. It was tied late in the third quarter before the Ravens ran away with it.

Pretty lame slate of games today. Eagles/Commanders is the about the only one that doesn't have a tanking team. And Philly is dominating.

No Pickens, depleted defense, Russ makoing big game-changing mistakes, even Boz making an error. Tomlin didn't lose this one by himself.

I agree, they may not win another game this season.

Maybe it was, but if you're not playing to win why bother showing up Tomlin? Oh wait, he got his nine wins so anything else is a bonus.
Besides, the AFC teams with a legit shot at the Super Bowl are cold weather teams. He doesn't want to stand outside in Buffalo or Kansas City, two games he has zero chance of winning, for three hours on a Sunday with his friends. If he can give Baltimore the division then pull a wild card game in LA, Houston, or maybe Miami, that's a head start on vacation.

Thank you Commanders, I did not want the NFC championship to be outdoors in Philly! :D

Culture matters, if you don't believe it look at the Lions defense performance against the Bears with 21 members of the defense on the IR. I think they will be OK, they were head and shoulders better than anyone in the NFC until Hutchinson went down. Now they have the best offense and a mediocre defense that could get better as some reinforcements show up towards the end of the season.

Kins won, Bucs lost. Now we hold the tie break. Rise up.
He did really well. Made some rookie things too. I was impressed that he got turfed and next play he wasn’t rattled and made a clean pass. He threw Pitts and Bijan into risk but that’s ok because he kept his poise. He impressed in his debut. Couldn’t ask for more in his first meaningful NFL action.
Whether or not we make a playoff I am optimistic about MP9.

Totally agree.
He's been on the biggest stage in college football, won games they should have won and games they shouldn't have won. While it's true that Penix did not play well in that championship game, he didn't shy away from the challenge.
Atlanta has a gem in Penix.
