NFL 2024-2025

Raiders moved up to #6. Assuming Titans/Giants take Sanders/Ward and someone takes Hunter, then that lets the incoming coach (assume Pierce no return) draft "not a quarterback" and keep his job. Maybe. That said, give the Raiders the entire first round of picks and we might be the 3rd or 2nd best team in the conference. I vote keep AOC and get more pieces and stop selling every player that becomes worth money. I am, again, happy I did not pay for any NFL outside of Amazon. I don't know if coming back to Oakland would help but it sure can't make it worse. Heck, put Brady back in a uniform and buy an o line sent from god. I will never forget the tuck rule and I'd be cool with that. Here's to next season! And playoffs or however you spell/pronounce that (been a bit...).

The Vikings looked terrible last night. They certainly lived up to their reputation and history. Look good and give fans hope, only to let them down in the end. Not sure why anyone is surprised. Did Darnold's value drop after last night? Leading up to the game talk was at least $50 million next year. Maybe not after last night.

I was thinking the same thing about Darnold. It felt like he was a shoe in to get a big money deal and be the starter for life in Minnesota, then the Sam from the Jets showed up. Bad timing buddy.

I know the Chiefs hearts probably weren't 100% in it yesterday, but Bo looked really good. Bo Nix and Broncos heading to the playoffs! Can't wait!
Indeed on Nix. It would be nice if they made some noise in the playoffs. I still think Nix and Penix will pan out as the two best QB's from that draft.

R.Wilson really seems to have lost whatever fire he had early on in his career... BENCHED at Denver, and now a BIG FAIL at Pit.. he may be toast at this point? :rollno:
He will get a shot somewhere, just based on his work in Seattle. He fell apart fast. I don't know what happened to him. It might be physical or it might be between the ears or both. I don't recall any quarterback going from what looked like a hall of fame career to needing to get put on the discard pile as fast or as abruptly as he has. He was beginning to tail off a bit in Seattle, but it all came apart completely in Denver. It's like there's nothing left.

My take is to let Fields give it a shot, but I'm pretty sure that won't happen.
