Lamar is insanely talented. Possibly the best football player in the NFL.

I'm sure I've said this in a post somewhere, some time.
When the pressure is on and the season is on the line Lamar fully stops trusting his teammates and his coaches and tries to win the game by himself.
It works 9 times of 10 in the regular season. That's why he wins MVP.
But it is so predictable he stops believing Henry can carry the ball best after halftime.
If Lamar could get his mind around this I have no doubt the Ravens could beat any team in a Super Bowl.
But as it stands today, The Ravens are going to get beaten in the divisional round next year too.
I don't hate Lamar or the Ravens. But they need to send him to a sports psychologist.
I think you're half right. He does start to press in the playoffs. Thus the bad INT in the first half. The fumble was more forgivable in those conditions, IMO.
But he doesn't control Henry's carries, the OC does. And Lamar was actually pretty restrained tonight on the running front--six carries. And he had a pretty good passing game considering he was missing his #1 receiver. As for Henry, he was rolling in the second half. But Andrews' fumble killed a drive where Henry likely would have rang up more yardage vs. a reeling (at that point) Bills defense. And when the Ravens got the ball back for the final drive, Henry didn't line up for a single play until the 2-point attempt, where Andrews had that awful drop (his third of the game). The Ravens had 416 yards to the Bills' 273 and lost. Ugh.
That was Baylor's Terrell Bernard ripping it from Andrews in the 4th. That might be the Bills defensive play of the game.
I actually got to see both games, which almost never happens. Was pulling for the Rams, but they had too many self inflicted wounds, including the two turnovers and the two long runs by Barkley. On both of those, by the time he was 5 yards into the defense, there was nobody in front of him. Let’s hope the Washington defensive coordinator was taking notes about the outcome of playing single safety defense. I’ll be pulling for the Commanders in a big way next week. The kid at QB is amazing, and he’s got some weapons to work with.
The second game made me very happy for two reasons: I don’t like the Ravens, and the Bills won with old school values…. Gritty, running football with no turnovers, and defensive plays. Two of the three takeaways were great individual defensive plays, and the third was just a terrible throw by Jackson. And still, it took a dropped pass in the end zone to decide things. Considering the first three games ended with the team I was hoping to win going home, I’ll take it.

A lot of folks have turned into KC haters, but I haven't. Still, I's like to see the Bills take it all.

As a Steelers fan, I have a strong dislike for the Ravens; but Lamar is a special talent. I'm with you regarding Daniels. Gotta' love that kid!
Going back to the days of the Bills' 4 Super Bowl losses in a row, I'd like to see them finally win one. The Chiefs are amazing, but I'll be pulling for the Bills.
In the NFC I was hoping Detroit would make it to the SB. But since they didn't, I'm torn. I love Saquon (from his days at my alma mater), so I'd like to see him get a ring. But if it's Eagles/Bills, I'll be pulling for Josh Allen and the Bills. Same thing if it's Bills vs. Washington.
If it's Jayden Daniels/Commanders vs. the Chiefs, I'll pull for Washington. This is a very strange year for me because I don't have a strong dislike for any of the four finalists.
I'm not a KC hater, but I do get tired of dynastic teams. I respect the Chiefs, but would like to see someone else win for a change.

Lamar Jackson is one of the better QB's in the league, but I don't consider him great. He's had a hard time beating the 'never under 500' Steelers the last few years and only this year finally because of Derrick Henry. I'd have him as an 'oh yeah, this guy is good too' addition to the MVP conversation.

Sad to hear about Sam Cosmi. He's a key part of the Washington Offense but more importantly he's a really good dude. Hope he heals fully.
Derrick Henry has definitely been a beast for them this year. I'd hate to be a 180 lb. cornerback seeing him snorting fire and running at me with head down and knees up! (Of course I was probably BORN at 180, so that's a moot point for me.).

I feel bad for that guy. He's usually sure handed, but he had an awful game yesterday from what I read this morning. His teammates are supporting him, so that is good to see.

I'm OK with that. I don't like the Bills at all. I want to see Mahomes get three in a row. For reasons.
If the Bills are in the Super Bowl, I'll be rooting for Washington or Philly. I don't much care which, since I don't much care about either team. I can respect both QBs. Daniels seems like a generational talent, at least for now he does. All that aside, I just flat don't care about the Eagles or WFT.
I'm settling in to the idea that come February 9th, there won't be a compelling reason for me to watch the Super Bowl. Like a few of you, I just don't care about any of these remaining teams.
If it's cold enough, maybe we'll head to the lake to do some ice skating or pond hockey.
