From the Pittsburgh Post Gazette....
"The Steelers have told all of Mike Tomlin’s assistant coaches they are free to pursue other opportunities and won’t be retained unless the new head coach wants to rehire them."
I dunno, I think Rooney is nicely telling them they're fired.

Lions just interviewed Arthur Smith for their new OC opening. Haven't you complained about him on here? Lol

I liked it! Seriously, though, Bills can't complain when they turned it over 5 times and, as Romo pointed out, committed holding in the end zone in OT that would have ended the game if called.
Agreed. I'm not part of 'the refs cost us the game' crowd. If you want to win, never let the game get into the hands of the refs. I just thought it was interesting that the refs decided to start making that call, and twice, on that drive.

Heartbreaking for Nix and for Broncos fans.

Man, I know the 49ers aren't healthy, but the Seahawks look dominant.
Agreed on both counts.
In regard to Seattle, Mcdonald had his guys ready. A healthy 49er team might have slowed them down, but I don't think anyone was going to beat them today. Wow.
I don't think the Bears stand a chance next week. The Rams though, Stafford may do it. That home field advantage in Seattle is no joke. This game tonight felt over to me after the opening kickoff return for a touchdown. The crowd was already fired up anyway and that put them over the top.

I was not expecting that at all. Starting with the opening kickoff. The Seahawks had an undrafted rookie left tackle in the second half. Either he is a beast or this could be a future problem. I guess taking out Cross was precautionary. It is still an issue.

That's fair, but I still think Darnold has more to prove. He barely had to lift a finger before Seattle was up 17-0. And he led the NFL in turnovers this year (even over Geno). That defense is incredible, though.
