I don't think the Bears stand a chance next week. The Rams though, Stafford may do it.
That home field advantage in Seattle is no joke...

I think home field advantage in Chicago tomorrow is going to be a factor too, with the weather.

That's fair, but I still think Darnold has more to prove. He barely had to lift a finger before Seattle was up 17-0. And he led the NFL in turnovers this year (even over Geno). That defense is incredible, though.

Yeah, he has to keep from turning the ball over for sure.

I guess if anyone is going to have a backup QB ready for the AFCCG next Sunday, it's Payton.
I don't even remember this Stidham guy from college, so this'll be interesting.

He played at Auburn before Nix and was drafted by Belichek. I don’t recall him playing much because NE signed Cam for whatever reason. Even when Cam sucked and the season was over as far as playoffs, Stidham rode the bench.

i think i turned the volume off when brady started suggesting positive and inspirational quotes for the bills when they were down 17-0, started working on my pedal board and determined that I need to go get a flanger at GC hollywood today

might not be able to watch the rams unless they are on Fubo

Houston is having some real bad luck. The last interception was a receiver knocking the ball up in the air, which is almost always bad. The previous one was a dying duck Stroud should not have thrown. (And as I wrote this, he threw another bad pass but got away with it.)

I couldn't believe Nix leaving the field with a broken ankle bone last night. I was hoping for a Seattle/Denver Super Bowl but the odds are dropping with Stidham leading the Broncos. Not zero, but definitely lower.

Do I need to say what I think of that guy?

Bills fire head coach Sean McDermott.
I did not see this coming...and, no, I am not an NFL referee.
Ouch.
Oh my, didn't see that one coming. Apparently this Beane guy added another title to his roles and is firmly convinced the coach was the problem and not the roster he built, then got the owner to agree with him.
