Absolutely ridiculous. Cooks holds onto that pass or is ruled down, and they’re in the AFC Championship game. But it goes the other way, so you fire the coach???
I'm guessing this guy Beane is on a power trip. He came in as GM after McDermott was already hired, so McDermott was not 'his guy' as coach even though they were buddies in Carolina.
The same day promotion to team president led me to that opinion I developed in this regard.
I personally can't recall any moments where McDermott looked to me like the wrong guy to coach Buffalo or that the game passed him by.
We're about to find out now if this Beane guy is the real deal.

I don't either. But the Pack have had decent defenses. Which is a good sign. I generally like defensive minded HQs.

I want to see the Seahawks make it to the SuperBowl. The Rams are the one team I didn't want to see them have to play again. My expectation is that next week is the championship. It will be yet another third meeting for NFC West teams. They should have been the 1, 2, and 3 seeds. The Superbowl will be about Bad Bunny, not which team is the best in the NFL. The best team will be decided by the Rams and the Seahawks.

I'm going to be happy no matter who wins the NFC game. I like Stafford as a person, based on what we've been allowed to know about him, so I hope he wins.

The AFC, I'm so disappointed for Nix. Maybe Payton has it in him to get Stidham ready. The Patriots fans that live around me are annoying, and if they end up winning this game it needs to have a star next to it that they backed in to the Super Bowl.

If the Patriots play the Seahawks in the Superbowl, the Seahawks can get payback. Just don't call for a pass at the wrong time.
I have it on good authority from an unnamed, but reliable source inside the administration that WHEN the Seahawks play the Patriots in the Superbowl that they're going to sign Marshawn Lynch to a 1 game contract and hand him the freaking ball on the 1 yard line for the win.
I'll be happy with any winner but the Patriots!

In the AFC championship game. I'd love to see a Denver offensive plan that can allow the QB to just facilitate enough to not lose. And the evil Pats just not show up.
