Maybe you need to rethink the no TV thing (not that there's anything wrong with ridding yourself of TV, but you seem to be suffering from severe withdrawal) and buy a whole bunch of the NFL Films productions. Just a suggestion.

I go to the bar.
I thought about the TV thing, but I like to watch at least 4 games at a time. 6-8 is total ecstasy. Only way to do that is to mess with my wife's decor and pay lots of money in TVs and sat. receivers. We've done the calculation, and the bar is cheaper. Plus it gets me out of the house, and the wife isn't there to infringe upon my football experience by doing stuff like talking.
But the NFL films thing is a good idea. I have Netflix, so it's time to fire up the DVD player on the PC. Good idea, I've been running out of clips to watch on YouTube.

Hallelujah Brotha. I thank God every day for my buddy with Direct TV who is a die hard Packer fan. I haven't missed a game since the early 90s. Plus, my wife isnt there to ruin it by talking about non football stuff.
So, Jive, you thought it was boring before with no real football news to discuss... you didn't think it could get worse, did you? But now, oh yea, it's worse. Nothing, except a couple of puff pieces from journalists, until training camp.
I did go to a Chicago Force (women's football) game and had a great time... I'd recommend checking out IWFL games to anyone if they're in your area. The season's over now (I think postseason playoffs start this weekend) but just throwing that out there.

So Ty Law jumps on with the Chiefs. The Seahawks were hoping he would accept their lower offer to play for a winner.
Despite an appearance in the SB, the Seahawks still have a hard time landing top notch free agents. It must be the location? Anyone else have any ideas? Were the Chiefs really a better option for on field success?

In reality though, the Chiefs have about as much chance as anyone else in the West to win the division. The offense is still strong, and they have been steadily improving their D.
On the other hand, the Seahawks are in one of the weakest divisions, and primed for a Superbowl hangover.
Ehh, but even as a KC kid, I've gotta admit that the chiefs are going to have some issues even with an improving defense. But Roaf, Shields, and Green certainly arent getting younger, and injuries could be an issue.
But still, the Chiefs could be a great team this next year. I'll be cheering for them and the Bears.

Larry Johnson will break Alexander's record by a 5 touchdowns. Reggie Bush will be the biggest flop this side of Kijana Carter.

(FWIW, I have had LJ the past 2 seasons...last year I rode him to a Toilet Bowl victory, the year prior I rode him to a Super Bowl victory).
Alexander is appealing because he's a proven commodity over a full season + he plays 25% of his games against the Cards & 'Niners.
Tomlinson? IMO, letting Brees get away was a big boo-boo.
When your team is the Eagles, Fantasy Football is about all the fun I'll have this year.
(except, of course, when the Cowpies come to Philly!).

Bush, on the other hand, if he gets over his ego and gets a deal done (I certainly hope that "sitting out the whole season" talk is just a contract strategy) going into training camp, I think he'll have a crazy season, mainly as a return man with a few touches out of the backfield and a couple slants and deep routes... imagine the swing if he scores three or more special teams touchdowns this year... that's pretty huge.

For most NFL fans, yes. Those of us who are posting in this thread are more interested in the NFL than you average fan. I'll bet you could put 50 people in a room who like the NFL, and less than 10 would even know who Al Saunders is.
