NFL Offseason 2013

Well, it's hard not to confuse those pesky North and South states. I guess it's hard to hire a proof-reader or run your design idea past a few others as well... ;)

The NFL is trying to breath some life into the Pro Bowl by copying how the NHL manages the roster for their All-Star game: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9525557/nfl-makes-major-pro-bowl-changes.

Seems like a fun idea, but I can see the low impact nature of the Pro-Bowl becoming even more so with team mates on both sides of the pitch.
It's the off-season where former UF Gators make the headlines for all the wrong reasons. :rollno:

They should adopt the Liverpool approach, and get t-shirts with his face on them printed up for the other players.

I am purely a lurker on this thread, but as a Packer fan I have to add a comment or two.

1. Bulaga is a decent lineman, but he is not the best on the team. The best o-lineman is actually Josh Sitton.

2. They have a rookie, David Bakhtiari, who has been extremely impressive and is a natural left tackle. He will likely get the call.

3. Marshall Newhouse played LT last year and somehow Rodgers survived. Newhouse is not very good.

4. Rodgers is always among the most sacked QB in the league. A lot of the sacks are actually his own doing because he holds the ball a long time. He is also extremely athletic and has the ability to sense the pressure coming and avoid really hard sacks.

5. The running game will be much improved. This should take some pressure off.

6. They will be just fine. I didn't consider them a SB favorite before this happened anyway. They should still win the division no matter who starts at LT.

7. Come playoff time, the biggest concern will be keeping other teams from scoring. The offense won't be an issue.

Now I will shut up and go back to lurking.

I just found out Rashard Mendenhall plays for Arizona. I knew about Arians becoming the HC. Funny how Arizona is the landing spot for the Pittsburgh cast-offs in recent years. Must be the warm weather. :D

Yeah, the rookie LT to the rescue. He'll be put to the test early on in the regular season. Can always put Newhouse back in there. Wouldn't surprise me if TT brings in an insurance o-lineman after teams make their cuts in the preseason.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Newhouse starting at neither tackle at some point. He isn't very good. I think the rookie will be okay.

Ahahahahahahahha, now this is funny:

A buddy (another Gator fan) and I were discussing how this ad, along with Eli's SNL appearance and Peyton's in that "cut that meat!" ad, has us all confused. We are predisposed to dislike the Mannings, yet they keep doing this likeable stuff lately.
