My Colts loose because Vanderjagt can't make a freakin field goal! :scowl:

that and the only reason why they had a shot at winning at all was because an AWFUL call with the steelers interception.

even though i predicted a colts win, i'm happy to know that peyton marino's gonna be watching the superbowl from his home AGAIN! :p

Don't even go there. On that 4th an inches play the Steeler O'line moved and they didn't call that which would have given the ball back to Indy with a lot more time on the clock. There were a lot of calls like that on both sides of the ball.

That is my only consolation to the pitiful excuse for the team that showed up in New England uniforms yesterday. Manning's got a monkey on his back, and I don't think he'll EVER get if off now. :D

You know, I am a little upset with my Colts. Why didn't they go no-huddle earlier in the game? Why couldn't they protect Peyton? Why couldn't the secondary stop the "Steeler's" passing game?:scowl: The '95 Colts played the Steelers better by a wide margin.

It is really hard being a Colts fan. They keep building me up and then letting me down year after year. I don't care how many times they make it into the playoffs or if they have a 16-0 season or set every stat record in the books. It all means nothing without a SB ring.

There is always next year. Yeah, right.:hmm:

No, they lost because Dungy, with 2 timeouts, didn't try and get two yards on 3rd and 2, going for a 15 yard gain instead. Weird call. Get the first down, call timeout, and then go for the touchdown. Dungy made Vanderjagt try a 46 yard field goal. That's not a gimme.

i wouldnt put it all on him.

A) if the colts would have played better the entire game they wouldnt have been in that posession.
B) if the would have Given Polmaleu(sp) the pick they could have been the game there... momentum steelers
C) they HAD 3 Time Outs... why not run it on 3 and 2, why pass it... why risk the iNT. The Kicker is only a man, you get him as close as possible.

The steelers beat the colts every which way, the game really shouldnt have been that close. Those 2 missed pass interference calls are being over looked because of the INT overturn. Please believe that there will be a discussion about the ****ty officiating in the wild card round, and in the playoffs.

Let me say this. I understand why Cower Ran it(when bettis Fumbled). I Dont understand why Dungy didnt...

that was an awful call. must be taking notes from pete carrol. :scowl:

yep.

and that missed int call was WAY more huge than the missed false start. at that time, the colts didn't have any sort of momentum.

Vanderjagst going tog et beat up over this because he always talks bad on peyton in the off season. now he messed up, and they will let him hear about it.

but i refuse to lay blame on him, The "Juggernaut" Offense didnt hsow life until 3 minutes left in the 4th Quarter... some Juggernaut... 21-3... must have been razzled by the Titanian Defense of the Steelers.

Fact of the matter is, the Colts are the New Buccaneers...make the playoffs but get beat by times they should squash... and hmmm what a coincidence... Dungy Coached Both.

No, it definately is not all Vanderjagt's fault. Although he is the highest paid kicker in the league and that is all he has to do, kick FG's and EP's :eyebrow: He talks smack about Peyton and now look at him.:scowl:

I personally put the blame on Dungy. He is the coach. He makes the hard calls during the game. His biggest mistake was not going for it on 4th and Goal at the 2 right before halftime. That was a huge mistake on Dungys part IMO :scowl:

Like I asked already, why didn't they go into the hurry-up offense back in the 1st Qtr? If you don't succeed on 1st down so what. Hurry to the line and GO! Keeping the Steeler D from making substitutions and having time to get set could have made a huge difference.

I guess it is moot though. The Steelers dominated the game and earned the right to go to the AFCC game. It should be on heckuva game.

Good luck to the Broncos and Steelers and lets keep it in the AFC!:)

Man, that game absolutely tied me into knots. Time for celebration!

Condolences to Colts fans...as a Steelers fan, I know how it feels when your team goes down in the playoffs. I won't lie though - it will be nice to not have to hear how the Colts are God's gift to the NFL. That's no criticism of any of you, more of overzealous media types.

Should be a great game vs. the Broncos.

Who did the Bucs go and thank after they won the Super Bowl? Dungy.

 I sat and watched that whole stinking game from my companies skybox and it made me sick. Frankly I'm glad the colts lost in the end. They don't deserve to be the AFC champs until they learn to play like they want it. We had that game handed to us time and time again and we kept coming up short. Congratulations to steelers defensive and offensive lines for absolutely ripping the colts to pieces. I can't even begin to express how dissapointed I am in the colts right now. They had everything going in their favor and proved once and for all that they can't handle the pressure.
