Ok ladies, the season is upon us. First up the op'ner Thursday night, Ravens Broncos. I'll go with the upset and take Denver.

Then my game, Pack/Niners. I'll also go with the Pack in the upset at Candlestick.

Although in your favour rematch playoff openers usually go to the last seasons loser, not this time however. Broncos may have upgunned but not enough. Fear the 49ers, seriously, and I'm a Ravens fan...

Actually, I'm most interested in the Eagles/Redskins game. Eagles have a new coach with a lot of media hype. Redskins have a healthy RG3 with a lot of media hype. The outcome is going to dash away the hype and present what is real.

If I were opposing teams, I go after Aaron Rodgers hard. The GM has totally effed up the backup QB situation, releasing all 3 backups and signing Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien yesterday. If 12 goes down, the Packers go down. Big time.

Go, JEFF TUEL!! I want to see my Wazzu QB be the first undrafted free agent to start the first game of the season since the NFL merger. That would be payoff for him slogging through a very hard college career....and he's a great guy.

I hope the Bills rest E.J. Manual and let Tuel do it.

I'll go with the Packers - and the Broncos - and the Seahawks.

Ball'mer has lost too many guys from last year's team, and the Broncos will come after them hard. It's going to be a mile high victory.

I can't wait to watch Jay Cutler alienate yet another year's worth of fans with his crabby public attitude and crummy body language.

He's a much better guy than he's perceived to be, but he seems to do his best to ignore anything he can do to improve his public image.

That seems a little odd to me. They're certainly a very good team. But they didn't even make it to the conference championship game last year, never mind the Super Bowl, and would've been 10-6 if not for the replacement refs. Plus they have to make three trips to the East Coast, and they have a second-year QB--yes, he got off to a great start, but the dreaded sophomore slump may await.

I really wish they wouldn't do that. I won't even read the article.

I love my Seahawks, but can't stand that sort of hype. As a fan, I'll take it one game at a time.

With that in mind, I'd take my 'hawks over Carolina by 10.

I'd take RG3 over Chip Kelly.

I think the 'skins have more talent on hand than the Eagles. Also, it will take some time before Kelly's system has a chance to get up and running (or not). I'll say that it will be very interesting to see how his system works (or fails) in the NFL.
