Ok, it irritated me enough that I'm going to list my sources.
The knee ( yes the MRI is of the hammy injury, which basically rules him out as a serious starter on day 1 according to all but the most optimistic armchair doctor ) but the knee is the real concern. Will it hold up? He's not been the best at staying in shape or staying healthy going back to his college days. Houston is famous for disinformation in regards to injuries.
Arian Foster Undergoes Knee Surgery
Texans coach Gary Kubiak said in a press conference Friday that Arian Foster (hamstring) is still considered "day to day."
"Until he's out there it's a concern, but everything is moving in the right direction," said Kubiak. Just reading tea leaves, the Texans' decision to hold Ben Tate, Derrick Ward, and Steve Slaton out of Thursday night's preseason finale may indicate concern with Foster's availability for Week 1 against the Colts. The Texans will likely continue to rest Foster until late next week, then possibly list him as questionable on the injury report. Sep 2 - 3:41 PM

Owen Daniels
Coach Gary Kubiak compared Owen Daniels to Shannon Sharpe as a "playmaking receiver." * I have to laugh ..seriously?? Shannon Sharpe??? That's rich! *
We haven't heard a peep about Daniels being nicked in Texans camp. For a guy that hasn't completed a full season since 2008, that's huge If you're not on the field, you're inconsistent at best. Now with his knee at 100 percent, Daniels can resume capitalizing on his strong chemistry with Matt Schaub. The 2011 Draft Guide conservatively projects Daniels for 67 catches and six touchdowns. Aug 10 - 8:26 AM He's got 4 CONTINUOUS years of injury history. That, my friends, is a trend. He is, in fact, injury prone.
Kevin Walter He has great hands and a good report with Shaub. Why, then, the inconsistent tag? He hasn't been the sole #2 WR. He splits time ( nearly a 50/50 split ) with Jacoby Jones. 2 different WR's going in and out of an offense make different reads and react differently to defenses. THAT is inconsistent for the QB.
The schedule is on NFL.com
What I listed is air tight. I'd float that boat across any waters of reason you wish to bring.
