Eli... I can take or leave. He is not compelling to watch like Vick or Peyton. When he is on, I dig him. More often than not, he is boring to watch. Plus, he was a Rebel. All Rebs are sworn enemies of Bulldogs.

Peyton... slow your roll son. Between audibles, play changes, fake-play changes, fake signs, and the no-huddle; he is a lot of fun to watch. I imagine it makes it even harder for the D to read the play before it happens. He may not have the run or explosive play making of Mexico, but he is just as exciting to watch.

I am not hating on anyone, just throwing my thoughts into the situation.

Easy killer, it's a hypothetical thing. Realize that your chain is merely being yanked by my fellow Mississippian and lighten up. :D

I apologize for talking about your messiah. May he play another ten years and be buried in a coffin of cheese when he passes on to Lambardi's great team in the sky.

I guess you have to be a Packers fan to defend Brett Favre. In ten years, I might be defending Brady in this exact manner, even though I hate the guy.

Seriously, guys - I'm not trying to be hostile, but objectivity is a good thing every now and then.

Whereas, I think Brady is merely a good (albeit with a good mind for the game) quarterback with an amazing O line. I share this feeling about USC's Matt Leinart. Not legendary or extremely talented. Regardless, he will and he deserves to be inducted to the Hall of Fame.

Before anyone flies off the handle with my comments, realize they are merely my opinion. I have no facts, data, personal accounts, eye-witnesses, bloody gloves that don't fit, or DNA evidence to prove it. Nor will I waste the time gathering said data in my defense.

I share your opinion of Brady, pretty much. He actually has been showing better velocity on his throws lately though, and he's starting to toss a pretty nice deep ball. Like you said though, it's his mind for the game that is his best asset - much to my frustration.

Way to ignore the point of the post you answered. You can "hate" whoever you want. It doesn't mean Horseface Elway did anything special in Superbowl 32. He didn't. The Broncos offensive line and Terrel Davis won that one. As far as Favre having a small amount of talent, the stats speak for themselves.
As far as being an ironman, he has more than doubled the consecutive starts record. I'd say that qualifies. You reveal yourself to be the WORST kind of football fan. A blatant homer who completely ignores reality and runs his mouth with no basis other than his own homerism.

Oh..and also, I'm in no way a Colts fan, but your Broncos can't sniff their jocks.

Alright...I see what you mean. I apologize if I offended some of you(Even Cheezewiz) or whatever. Ill just go through and get rid of those posts.Though I still don't see why he got so pissed off over football. Don't judge me on this thread, I just get real obnoxious when I get competitive.

No football fan is going to say that Favre or Manning is not a good quarterback. Whether you're a fan or not is a different story. But don't start discussions by saying that two future first ballot hall of famers aren't any good and you're not going to give them credit for their accomplishments. It gets things started on the wrong foot, ya know?
