A good pass rusher, maybe.

He's not the same dominant rusher that blows past tackles like last year. After the BAL game last year, when he was using and abusing Ogden, I thought this guy is going to dominate. He did last season, but he's not like that anymore.
Still solid, but not dominant.

Cool idea - hope it works out for you. I'd get the Packer one in the works as well. In terms of NFL apparel sales, I've never seen more people wearing their colors then when I am visiting my inlaws in Milwaukee.

I wonder if the Bear logo would be more visible while playing if it were moved closer to the neck?

Would you do it with Laklands? My initial reaction is that that might be too high end; maybe something along the line of MIM Fender? Then again, a Bear Lakland would be a Chicagoland twofer.

Yeah, it'd be one I'd do if things work out. I'd love to dangle a Green and Gold bass at Cheeze to make his GAS pains swell.

For this bass it would be a Lakland, since it's mainly for me at this point. One of my favorite basses, my favorite team, built in one of my favorite cities and hometown, Chicago. The whole Karma and Mojo would be more fitting if it were a Lakland.

For others, we'll have to see. I have some ideas brewing.

Actually I've been dreaming about something like this for a while. I have to admit, I would change the design based on the outcome of the season. But it's WAY too early to put Superbowl XLI champs on it.

So, does a bass like this appeal to you?

You are right, the football knobs are wrong but how about football shaped tuning keys. :hyper:

That has to happen. Plus you can use them on the whole series and even sell them off to folks who want to upgrade their beater with a few well placed team stickers and football tuning pegs.

The thing this year is that a lot of teams are double teaming him to death. He gets a mixed combo of lineman, RB, TE, FB's. They really work at shutting him down in every game.

Plus, it helps when they can push the D middle around so they don't have to worry about them as much as Freeney.

Photoshop an Orange Crush Denver Bass......If it looks like it does in my mind, I'd be all over it.

Here is where the loss of Tripplett and Thornton are having an effect on Dwight. Raegor sitting on the bench healing from that auto accident isn't helping either. I think the loss of Bob Sanders is HUGE. Even though Mike Doss was supposed to come off the bench, he had to start with Sanders out. Now, Doss is out for the season. Losing Corey Simon was a blow as well. I think he was being counted on as a solid starter. Perhaps Kelly knows more than me on Simon.

Yikes! I'm starting to sound like an Indy beat writer. Hey, I need to keep up on my "enemies" in the AFC. :D
