NFL Week #15

I dunno, but I think Shanahan's an idjut for benching McNabb. Like him or not, he's still the better chance of winning.;)

That and it can be viewed as Shanahan saying I'll take another L on my record. Skins may win, but without McNabb probability hit the ground like a shot duck.

I don't like both Shanahan's working together, seems they've got an aire of false superiority. I'd bet they won't be together next season. One or both will be gone knowing Snyder.

Just saw the thread, thought it was time to chime in.;)

It sucks that that idiot McDaniels didn't give him more playing time with all the garbage time in Broncos games this season. I can't see Tim doing very well with just one NFL pass under his belt so far.

Maybe he's been giving him a ton of first team reps in practice? I don't know what the Broncos have been doing this season, but if Tim is to be their franchise player, mabe now is the time for him to take over.

Yup, Rodgers is officially out and Matt Flynn will start for the Pack.

And I'm still sticking with my prediction and come Monday morning, everyone (Pack and Pats fans alike) will be shaking their heads, wondering what the heck happened.

It would REALLY surprise me if Pats put up 42 on the Pack D. But, we will have 1-2 recently signed street free agents probablly starting with Jenkins out now and now Zombo.

The Patriots also aren't the Jets, at all.

No way the Pack comes out with a win unless the Ghost of Lombardi himself suits up.

Not only is Troy unlikely to play Sunday, the NFL Network now says that there's a good possibility he will not play again during the regular season. Obviously, they're hoping he'll be ready for the playoffs, but this is not good news at all...

I was 11-5 last week and with San Diego's win on Thursday I'm 72-44 overall.

NYJ at Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh. I still don't think the Jets are as good as their record states.

Denver at Oakland - Oakland

Kansas City at St Louis - Kansas City. Only because Seattle needs St. Louis to lose...

Washington at Dallas - No Donovan McNabb and reports are many of the players are upset. Dallas

Philadelphia at NYG - I hope I'll be able to watch this one... NYG's receiving corps is beaten up but their running game is finally rolling thanks to Jacobs getting his head out of his ***. But... Philly has so many weapons and I think they'll protect Vick's left better this time. Reluctantly, Philadelphia.

Arizona at Carolina - Arizona

Detroit at Tampa Bay - Tampa Bay

Buffalo at Miami - Miami

Cleveland at Cincinnati - Cleveland

Jacksonville at Indianapolis - I'm going with Peyton Manning at home. Indianapolis

Houston at Tennessee - Houston seem much better then their record. Houston

New Orleans at Baltimore - I'm honestly not sure here. New Orleans

Atlanta at Seattle - (My Team) I'm a Seahawk fan, so I just hope we don't get embarrassed to badly. Atlanta wins but hoping Seattle pulls out a miracle.

Green Bay at New England - No Aaron Rogers? New England.

Chicago at Minnesota - Chicago in a 6-3 schorcher...

He better come from nowhere, considering he's got 29 attempts at passing this season - with a QB rating of 59.8. Brady's at 110.

Care to put a little bread on it? :D

Here in Denver, alot of us are not seeing Tim Tebow as the future of the Broncos. He is a rookie in every sense of the word. He has mental and physical shortcomings. About the only things he has going for him is a ton of guts and Oscar-winning PMA.

And his future is very much in the hands of the next coaching staff that replaces the pathetic-but-mercifully-short-lived McDaniels era.

Our starting QB is out, we already have 13 starters on IR, with two more defensive starters out for this game and you want me to wager on it?

For someone backing a healthy 11-2 juggernaut on a roll, you are pretty confident about them winning tonight. ;)

I am not that confident and why would I be? All I'm saying is weird things happen in the NFL. Who would have thought the Lions would have beat us with their 3rd string QB last week? Who would have thought Cleveland would beat the Pats?

Who would have thought the Packers would even have been competitive at all this year with 1/3 of their starters gone for the season?

Let the game begin. We could easily get blown out. We could just as easily pull out some weird fluke of a game and actually win.

Wager? Yeah, sure. I'll bet you this...If the Pats win I'll proclaim them NFL champions right after the game for beating up probably the most unfortunate team in the NFL.

Only way I can see GB winning is if Brady sits the whole game to rest and the rest of the Offense sits. But keep in mind they are undefeated at Gillette and it will be cold and snowy; we all know how the Pats do in cold weather......(Just ask Chicago).

Good thing for the Pats that Green Bay is in the tropics. ;)

I think I'd rather live in Chicago in the winter, than up here.

^ I wasn't saying that New England is colder than WI, just stating the fact that TB and the Pats are dominant in the month of December and the cold, harsh weather that comes with it. I too detest the cold, but I can't move to a warmer climate (yet ;).

I really like the Pack, especially Rogers. I feel bad that he had to wait to get his shot after the Diva Farve stunk up things for so long. I watched him get his bell rung last week vs. Detroit and was sad for him and the fans. We fans here respect and admire the whole Packers organization, and I really do want you to beat out the Vikes and send the drama queen back to his Wrangler ads for good. Looks like mission accomplished!

I'm pretty in touch with Broncos fans' attitudes, since my father lives there. And I know Tebow very well as a player, having watched every game he played at UF (I'm an alumnus).

I can't say for sure that he's the future franchise QB. In fact, I was shocked that he was drafted so high. It created very lofty expectations for a guy who I believe to be one of the greatest college players of all time (and who deservedly got a lot of attention in college), but whose skill set won't necessarily translate well to the NFL.

But I don't see physical or mental shortcomings. He's a big, strong guy with a good arm, and he relentlessly studies playbooks and film. And yes, he has plenty of toughness and a great attitude (it really isn't an act, either). Where he's lacking is in his throwing technique, possibly footwork, and in experience reading complex defenses. I think it's possible for him to work on those things to the point where he becomes a good (probably not great) NFL QB.

Obviously, that's going to take time. Unfortunately, Tebow may not have a lot of that in Denver now. He'll be associated with the failed McDaniels regime, and if he doesn't do well right away as a starter (a definite possibility given his lack of playing time), many disgruntled Broncos fans--who deserve to be pissed off, because McDaniels sucked--will probably give up on him. And the new coaching staff may, too, since they'll probably be pressured to make big changes. It's a crappy situation.

All I can say is I'm glad I'm at work today so I can't witness the Eagles debacle on TV. I knew the Giants were going to give us a damn good run for the money, but I sure as hell didn't think we'd be down 24-3 going into halftime. This sucks on multiple levels of epic magnitude.
