Well, the Broncos defense is awful, and the offensive line is acting like the recently-famed Little Sisters of the Poor. If all they had to do was pass the ball, they'd be OK.

According to the outtake I saw, the kick was supposed to go to the sidelines but the snap was high and the rookie punter panicked and just kicked it as quick as he could.
I was pulling for him.
Notice how surprised everyone is that he's actually throwing the ball downfield? There seems to be a collective sigh of relief that he didn't implode.
8/16 138 yds in the air, meh. And it took a couple of pretty amazing catches for that stat.
78 yds on the ground, 40 of which came from the eye-popping jaunt to the end zone. Sacrificing the body not an issue for him, I hope it holds up.
All-in-all, about what I expected.
the Eagles continue to play gutsy smart football. They erode away at teams quarter by quarter until in the last 15 minutes team defenses are worn out and Vick and company are playing near the top of their games. C'mon down by 24 in the last 8 minutes...and the low class giants walked off the field without shaking any of the Eagles hands :scowl:
Well Tim Tebow started and didn't win. Planes didn't fall out of the sky and the way NFL teams run their offense hasn't been "revolutionised." He did run the ball well, and on that side of things, he did a lot better than I expected.
Tennessee won an elimination game against Houston, and looked fantastic for the second week in a row. Vince who?

Since I can't seem to grasp when the Pack will be on or off, and with Flynn starting I really haven't a clue how they'll do, I'm picking the Pack.

Since the Packers are beating the Patriots and the Lions beat the Packers last week does that mean the Lions are better then the Patriots?
I'll buy this at the end of the 3rd quarter. I remember watching the first half of the Pats/Lions game a few weeks ago and thinking that the Lions had a shot after finishing the first half with a 17-10 lead. Then the Pats put up 35 and only allowed 7 in the second half.
Son of a gun. Oh well, the Steelers clinched a playoff spot anyway, so I'm happy.

To me and probably only a couple other guys here, it was great to see Tebow score that 40 yard TD. Very cool, and good for Tim. Granted the Raiders don't have a stifling defense, but letting any QB run right through your defense like that is impressive. Tim may not amount to much in the NFL, but he is taking advantage of the chances put before him. I haven't seen video of the TD pass yet.

Collinsworth is a dork. Brady throws an incomplete pass to Welker in the fourth with about 4:31 left. So Collinsworth goes on and on about how even on an incomplete pass, Brady throws a great pass. In this case, Brady thows the ball low so it can only be dropped to the ground instead of being tipped and intercepted.
On the very next play, a Brady pass is tipped into the air and nearly picked off. Collinsworth is silent.

Nah, i actually wouldn't be shocked to see this as a much closer game.. with rogers out it has Trap Game potential.

I would be surprised if they trade him given that it seems like most NFL coaches didn't want him when he came up in the draft. Of course, the Panthers could use a starting QB.
the offense, sure... but again, super young rookie defense still pissing me off. missed tackles, blown assignments, and for the love of the good Lord, asante, just tackle your man, and stop going for the sky high big risk play.
still, the offense is shaping up beautifully, and today shows that they can just turn it on when they need to. but again, like the last year's young offense, once the defense gets their act together, LOOKOUT.
and seriously, vick's moves makes everyone else look like they're standing still. just unreal. he's still a puppy killer to me, but i'm not gonna slap a gift horse in the mouth.
and why does jeremy maclin get no love? sure, he's not quite making the big sexy time desean like plays, but seriously, half of the other receivers, not to mention vick, all benefit from maclin's superb downfield blocking. give him the dam ball, and gimme some fantasy points.
