NFL Week #17

^ This. I'm a huge Fish fan. When the "stache" hit's LA, good things will follow.

Unless he goes to San Diego first ;)

BTW I don't see that happening. He has ties to L.A. and the Rams organization. Getting a high draft pick with a franchise QB and a damn good RB already in place is the icing on the cake.

Everything I've read so far is Rams heavy with Miami just kind of set off to the side. It'd be interesting to see what he could do in Tampa, though. Wherever he goes, I'm sure he'll ask for a lot more control than he got here in Tennessee. Hard to get players to buy into the system with an owner like ours...

The only undisputable call the refs missed in the Lions Packers game was the non touchdown.

Ummm... no.

The non-touchdown by Titus Young was egregious.

The Scheffler fumble overturned on replay.

Nelson's alleged muff could have gone either way. He held on to the ball AT LEAST as long as Megatron did on his TD catch.

One big difference - because of the way it was called, the CJ catch was reviewable and the Nelson muff wasn't.

Plus Nelson had significantly less control of the ball.

In the end, THE BETTER TEAM WON....

No disagreement there... but the officiating was a complete and utter joke.

Oakland...ugh!

I've been loving Hue Jackson as a coach so far...for his energy, passion for his team, and play calling.

OK, now lets channel that into fixing these penalties! I believe wholeheartedly that if we hadn't made so many uber-dumb in-game decisions throughout the season, we would have had the division! It was handed to us on a platter matter of fact, and we just said "No, thanks!"

Go Steelers. Beat up on dem Broncos, beat em up bad!

Does Oakland have devoted fans? Like in sickness and health?

I think that number is small... I feel majority of Oakland fans like Oakland because it's consider "cool" and they have "cool" colors and a guy with a patch on the logo... You ask them anything about the team, they won't know. I myself am guilty of liking raiders along side with the 49ers when i was 13.

Having said that, i have number of friends who are Raider fans and they are pretty damn good fans, they know football, they like the team even when they suck.

I honestly don't see how you do it MT. I had to be a Raiders fan for 1 game. I lasted 15 minutes and wanted to stab Palmer, kick every DB in the nutz and bury my foot in the OC's backside. As a Titans fan it was brutal needing only the Raiders to win to get into the play offs.

Heh. This was peanuts...try making it to the SB your senior year in high school, only to have your best O-lineman have a mental breakdown and disappear the day before the game, then have your beloved ex-head coach come in and undress you for the world to see. Then in subsequent seasons......:atoz:

It has been pretty dang tough. This season, believe it or not, has been a pretty positive one looking forward. I mean, DHB is catching balls, Palmer is inconsistent but he looks to be getting back into the flow of things, we've got a HC who cares about the team and we've got a roster of fast guys who also can :gasp: play football!

MAN I remember that !!!

Have you ever been up by 35, knocked the other teams starting QB out of the game and ultimately loose the game?

Yeah, thought not.

I still hate Frank Reich.
