Bob, I remember Brett Favre calling his own plays at will, generally running the show and having it his way at Green Bay, when Mike Sherman was the coach (and GM) in Green Bay. Sherman has had success in coaching, but the way Favre controlled him tells me something about his leadership, or lack of, in a situation like this.

True. Easy enough to look up, but not sure how he did as head coach at TX A&M

I love the Raiders. Been following them since 06 so that must tell you something.
Im actually for once feeling optimistic for next season. Word is Oakland is interviewing some GMs right now so we'll see how that goes. Reggie Mckenzie is one of them.
