Not sure, but I don't think so, haven't ever heard any noise about it in the press, and with all the NOLA coverage of Chris Ivory, if there were a connection there, it would have been mentioned ad nauseum.

Losing him won't help our cause one bit...dude was a horse when healthy, but apparently, this is why he was undrafted.

Tom Cable guides the Raiders to their best record in eight years, and they kick him out. Marvin Lewis guides the Bengals to their worst record in eight years, and he gets an extension. What's next? The Falcons fire Smith and the Panthers decide to keep Fox after all?

The wacky NFL season continues even after the regular season is over.

If a 7-9, don't belong anywhere but at home packin' for the offseason, team my old high school team could have destroyed wins on Saturday, I will be crying. I suggest you read your own sig file, as Scotty's comments are appropriate for THIS particular version of physics as well. ;)

More likely, I'll be crying tears of laughter, because from what I saw of the game that sent the Seaturkeys to the post season, it was a matter of which team didn't want to win more than anything else.

This will be a laugher. :D

Wacky is right! Up here in New England a lot of us are still in shock at the Pats' "rebuilding year". After working like dogs to win the division in 2009 with a 10-6 record, they get shredded by the Ravens in the playoffs. I, and many other Pats fans, figured the dynasty was dead and buried, and 2010 would be maybe a wild-card at best, but certainly 8-8 was a distinct possibility. What a pleasant surprise this season turned out to be! I guess a lot of us forgot the motto, "In Bill We Trust"!

The Seattle sports radio guys are all resting their hope on the hip of Matt Hasselbeck.

Matt is a good QB who is a master of the WCO, but he peaked five years ago with Holmgren. He is also the QB who guided the Seahawks to a loss to NOLA already once this season. On paper, it does not look good for Seattle.

My opinion of the Saints from a casual observer...I am more anxious to see if NOLA can "flip the switch". It looked to me like they went on cruise control during the regular season, waiting for the playoffs to start. Some teams can do it, some can not. It is going to take Brees and Vilma to lead this team.

Of course, but your blood pressure spiked and mine didn't. I win!

The Hawks are playing with house money. The weather may get really interesting, lots of snow and freezing rain in the Pacific NorthWet right now. It could be much closer than you think, even though Seattle is genuinely awful.

Most of us around here know that even the Ducks could whip the Seahawks this year. Big deal, we have many other priorities besides football -- especially "pro" football with arbitrary made up rules that are a bad joke. Same as it it ever was. I want entertainment, as I so often say. Pretty good bowl season so far, no? ;)

They have no O-line (and maybe three healthy ones at best), no receivers, and no running game. What's not to like? :D

FWIW, my BP didn't spike a bit. :D Frankly, I'm looking at this as a bye week for the Saints, with a bit of R&R in the beautiful NW US.

(...now, if they go out, lay an egg, and LOSE, my BP will SPIKE! :eek: Let's just say I don't have any BP meds in the house, and I'm not planning on getting any... ;) )

If the Saints manage to lose this one... I actually don't know what I'd do. I'd start off by laughing a lot, though.

...so far, when they NEED a win, they've done what they needed. Steelers? Notch. Falcons at the end of the year? Notch.

In a "win or go home" tournament, the Hawks can play with the "house money" all they want,...but they aren't gonna have any left at the end of the day on Saturday. This is the kind of game the Saints win.

Cool, just messin' wit ya a bit, as I'm sure you know. It is beautiful here, but unfortunately they won't be visiting the mountains, which is the place to be right now. And usually people don't get hurt in bye weeks, which would be my biggest worry as a Saints fan, especially this year. The whole seeding system is a bit of a mess, no?
