Green Bay at (as McCarthy calls it) Dee'-troit
In a division of seeming parity at this point (all teams are 1-1), it'll come down to defense and who can stop who's offense. Packers are banged up again and are going to have to run out more rooks on D. For that reason alone, I'm going with Dee'troit and also because it's at their place.

BAL/CLE or WAS/PHI are the most intriguing games for me. I sure hope Tennessee can knock off Cincinnati. Pittsburgh will be on display for the whole country to see how mediocre they are Sunday night. Maybe they find a way to pull it out, but I suspect Carolina will beat them.

Locker is an enigma wrapped in a riddle and covered in mystery sauce. He couldn't hit wide open targets with a clean pocket on Sunday. I think Ciny's D is markedly better than Dallas ( although Locker sure made them look great ) I think the old AFC central foes kick the crap outta Tenn. and Whis. begins looking at next years QB crop very very closely. From then on, it's how Locker deals with the enormous pressure of "proving it" or losing it.

I really don't know what to make of the Dolphins. They looked great against the Patriots when it really mattered, and awful against Buffalo. Moreno was the big difference in the two games, and he continues to be out, so I'm not optimistic. OTOH, they are playing an 0-2 Chiefs team in Miami. Meh.

Hahahaha FG.

At least the Vikings stood up and admitted a mistake in handling the Adrian Peterson issue. They could have pulled a Roger Goodell and made up some lies about not having all the information they needed.

The Seahawks will now show whether they are going on a post-championship fold or if last week was a wake-up call. I hate to admit it, but I think they might be on a fold. I don't see them beating the snot out of Denver and Manning again.

I think the 115 degree heat had a lot to do with it. The local news (Steve Raible) said "there were dozens of people treated for heat exhaustion by paramedics, and 20 hospitalized", but you're right - there won't be a blow-out against Denver like the SB. It will be a great game to watch in any case.

Kudos to Sean Payton: http: //espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11547204/devon-cincinnati-bengals-sean-payton-new-orleans-saints-talk-first
