Got a new guitar today, ordered it from Glarry a week ago. Absolutely floored by the quality of this thing considering it cost about $65 shipped. Frets are nice, neck is straight and it’s almost properly intonated right out of the box. Plus it weighs nothing. Played guitar for many years before bass and had to sell my only electric guitar a few years ago when I lost my job. I had a sour spot about that for a while and decided that it was time to get back on board. Grabbed a nice Katana amp used on the local marketplace and can’t wait to get started on this again.

I am in process of changing some things on a Glarry five sting. Neck work and readjusted the tuners. Drilled the bridge so I could use a step up in string size. Have to make a new nut. That plastic thing has to go. It plays and sounds good. In fact, it sounds as good as some of my higher priced basses. If my back gets tired at the end of the night, this bass comes out without concern.

I just picked up GIB six string in a burst. After a setup, this thing is respectable. It plays better than some of my expensive basses. Fit n finish are excellent as is all the hardware. Nothing cheap feeling about this bass at all. I will play it in a bit. After a setup I like to let things settle then re-check things out. It's a pleasant surprise!
