NHL Offseason 2019

I banged on Kessel a few times last season and I still feel the same way, but I'm not sure the return on the trade will be much of an improvement for the Pens. All depends on how this Pierre-Olivier Joseph fellow pans out in the future.

I admit I liked what I saw of Galchenyuk last season here in the desert, and perhaps he'll break loose playing with Sid or Geno.

It probably won't have the biggest impact of all these other moves, but so far Pavelski to Dallas surprises me the most.

Well, that and the wings bringing back Filppula. But that's only surprising in the way it would be surprising to see a dog trained to operate a rotary telephone. It's noteworthy, but what good does it do anybody?

Apparently I need to go turn on NHL network.

The deconstruction of Columbus begins.

Naw, they only lost their starting goaltender along with their leading scorer and offensive threat. ;)

After jumping on their bandwagon a few months ago after the Pens were booted, I'm now back to 'hating' them as another division rival (but with more respect than before). Which explains why it sucks that Panarin ends up on Broadway. Double yuck.

I'm surprised and relieved. I felt like they finally got to the spot where they could dominate the metro, but now I won't need to worry about them anymore.
Dubinsky is left alone flapping in the wind now.

Saw this coming long ago, and have commented on it a few times. NO ONE will continue to play for Tortellini if they can escape.
