They may have toWith the border situation, are we gonna have a new 7 team Canadian division and 3x8 team US divisions[or 4x6] with some kinda playoffs when they sound the 'all clear'?
He is by far the best hockey player I have ever seen play the game. And that is coming from a life long fan who never liked the Bruins. And a real class act. So sad his career was so short, medical treatment for knee injuries back then was really just one step up from a butcher job.50 years ago today:

That extended to 1991, before the Cup wasn't won until June 1 in 1992.Back when the Cup was hoisted in May.

Pick up a book of German cusswords and you'll be fine. AFA the Panthers-Ouch.I'm very surprised how well I've been getting along without sports. Much better than I anticipated, especially when I am used to watching hockey practically every night via Center Ice and watching soccer all morning long on Saturdays & Sundays.
The interesting thing this past weekend was watching the Bundesliga (German soccer league) resume play, albeit in empty stadiums. Kind of surreal. One interesting thing was you could hear the players communicate with each other during the match with no crowd noise. Of course, it would have been more interesting if I could understand German.
Just made me wonder if and when the NHL returns and plays in empty arenas...how that will look and feel. (Probably not much different for Panthers fans but still...)
Yeah, but if/when live hockey returns, I'll be glued to the tube.I feel you @dwm74 on that one.
NHL is not even on my mind or radar really. I pick up some headlines here and there, but it's not like I go looking for them.

Since gardening season in my area runs 1/1-12/31 and baseball doesn't seem to be in any hurry, I'll take whatever comes along.I don't know if I will or not.
As we roll into June, I am done with hockey. I am thinking about baseball, outside, bonfires, gardening, and the like.
I'm sure I'll pay attention and keep up with this thread though.

(Rant over.)
