NHL Season 2019-20

TampaBay 3-1 over Boston. TB leads series 3 - 1
I have a question that may start a rant from some (Canadians) people.
When was the last time nearly ANY Canadian team went past the first round in the Cup playoffs?
It seems for about 5 years, they've ALL kind of faltered.
I mean, it's like almost all of Canada just turn off their TVs at the end of the regular season - or soon thereafter.
I kinda feel bad about it, and I'm from Texas.
I really miss having a rivalry with Edmonton. What's the deal? Why are Canadian teams sort of shut out of the playoffs lately?
I think that, due to the various rules in place on this forum, I shall not try to answer that.

I think it's the Habs' fault. They cursed their entire country when they weaseled that McSorley penalty in 1993. They won the Cup, but in doing so they made a deal with the devil and condemned their entire nation.

Karma.

Now, it's possible I'm wrong; this is just a theory. But.

Vancouver ?
Yes, THIS YEAR there finally is one. And I'm glad. I was actually asking what happened? It's been that way for a while. Is there something (besides just having more teams, with the talent spread out amongst them) that I don't know about? They used to dominate everything. Maybe it's nostalgia, but being from a southern US state surrounded by expansion teams, I miss having Canadian teams all over the place in the playoffs

Dallas defeated Avs 5-4
Dallas Leads series 3 - 1
I'm kind of shocked that the Stars have handled the Avs the way they have. And you can't blame it on the Grubauer injury... Not many of the goals have been the fault of the backup goalie. Bottom line is Dallas is firing on all cylinders while Colorado is sputtering. Didn't see this series turning out this way.

This was sent to me. Someone went to some trouble to create it.
