I'm not blessed with terrific eyesight and I'm not a mind reader*, but I did not see intent on that play. As a matter of fact, Reaves ducked his shoulder and the Canuck planted his chest/face into him. Two minute minor, maybe. % minute major and a game? Nope. The Canuck came back and played looking just fine. The game was over when Vancouver pulled Demko. They might've scored to force OT, but without Demko playing out his butt, they were done. IDK the actual stats on it, but games I've seen, the 6th attacker doesn't work that often. The MT netter does.

*nor do I play one on TV. And I've never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express

I think the NHL gave a one game suspension as more of a warning because they couldn't see much intent either. Admittedly it wasn't as bad as some. But, they want to send a message not to try that sort of stuff. I want them to send that message to everyone, and I guess Reaves was their example this time.
That being said, - it's not his first time.

It was a good run for the Flyers. Ultimately the inability to put the puck in the net caught up with them. That last game was tough to watch. They couldn't generate anything. 6ers, Flyers are gonzo... Phillies .... c'mon man!

I kinda figured it wasn't going to end in the Isles favor when, after dominating the first period and outshooting the Bolts by a large margin, yet only managed one goal from a third-liner. Tampa made the necessary adjustments after the first intermission and now have a two-game lead.

Since I don't really pull for either team, I'll say I was glad to see the Islanders win one over the Lightning
That was a great game last night. The longer the series lasts, the more great hockey I get to watch.
