I hate shootouts
Well, tonight's game... same teams... will NOT be a shootout.
Pathetic and embarrassing. I couldn't even watch it after it was 4-1...

What's strange is that Dubois just bought a brand new house this summer in Columbus , and signed that 2 year contract.Whoa! Dubois definitely wanted out, so I guess he's happy.
I’m not sure how I feel about puck tracking. I guess it would make it easier and quicker to disallow goals due to missed offsides calls.
offsides calls are pretty ticky tackyThe players all hate the challenge review of offsides to disallow goals and there is a growing call to do away with it.
I don't like it either. It involves checking back to much earlier in the play, before the goal was scored, to check the video to see if the ref missed an offsides call because a part of one player's skate was an inch over the line before the puck crossed.
In every instance I've ever seen or heard about, where the goal was disallowed, the tiny amount the player was offsides had absolutely zero affect on the play and didn't contribute to the puck going in the net.
It's just a waste of time and it's incredibly frustrating to the players who have to endure the totally arbitrariness of wiping away of the all their hard work in scoring a goal.

That was a super-exciting OT in Boston. I have no idea how the Pens had a 3-on-0 (with Malkin!) in sudden death and didn't even put the puck on the net.
PleaseI saw a gif of the flubbed 3 on oh and lM*O.
