NHL Season 2021

Just a hunch, but I'm guessing the next player to be traded will be Dubois out of Columbus. Torts benched him last night after a lackluster shift in the first period, and he never saw the ice after that. Yeah, Torts is a dick to the nth degree, but when you're a 22-yr-old kid still proving your worth in this league, you do what the coach says regardless of your personal feelings toward the guy. Not the way to help your trade value, Pierre-Luc.

(That being said, I'd love to see him wearing a Pens uniform. he does have a lot of upside.)

I agree that as a young player , you listen to the coach , but my guess is that Tort will be fired.

The NHL pulled the new electronic pucks because of player complaints.

I saw this headline the other day but didn’t take the time to delve further.

This piqued my curiosity.

Apparently the league cites poor quality control as opposed to the imbedded technology as the reason for the poor performance.

I’m not sure how I feel about puck tracking. I guess it would make it easier and quicker to disallow goals due to missed offsides calls.

Is the juice really worth the squeeze?

An article I saw about the electronic pucks cited fantasy league play as the main reason for the NHL using them. It suggested the fantasy industry was paying the league a lot of money for the technology.
