Guys, I'm not 'spinning' this situation. I, along with most Coyotes, fans are just as frustrated with this thing dragging out as long as it has. Why the City of Glendale cancelled the lease at their arena, I have no idea. But there it sits, 16,000 empty seats on what should be game nights.
The latest news is the ownership is finalizing the offer on a piece of land in NE Phoenix.

Whatever the timeline is, who knows. But Mullet Arena was never going to be a permanent home.
As I've stated before in previous NHL threads, I'm just as fed up and tired of this seemingly never-ending saga as any other hockey fan. I'm at the point where if they end up staying here, that's fine. But I also won't be losing any sleep if they relocate.
But in the meantime, the on-ice product appears to have turned the corner, and are actually more competitive than many predicted, and it's a team that is fun to watch. I'll continue supporting them while they're here.
