I'm not sure why he did it, but I'm 100% certain that's why I would do it. Like a 70s wrestling villain hiding the brass knuckles from the ref just to rile up the crowd.

The Sharks were awful tonight. The only guy who showed up ready to play was Askarov. He kept them in the game all night.
Panthers are doing well. Marchand got his thousandth point.
I was at a bar last night, and at the first intermission somebody was joking that the other team must not have shown up for the Leafs to be ahead 2-0. I told him not to worry, lots of time left for the Leafs to blow it

After an horrible and quite worrying season start , Sens are back up.
They managed to win without their most important player and captain , they had a point in the last 7 or 8 games and are near the top of their division.
But now , Chabot and Jensen are out , two important D-men , and are going for a seven game road trip after saturday's game.
If they can maintain a .500 on that trip , it would be big !

It hurt watching the Wings give up such a lead and lose in overtime last night.
But hey, today I get the Saginaw Spirit at 3:00 and then the Wings play the Rangers at MSG. Hopefully the Rangers last home win was just a fluke.

Got to watch the Lightning beat the Panthers, even though the Bolts were missing 27% of their cap/players. Then watched some college 'feetsball' and finished by catching the end of the Leafs game on NHL tonight.

Pens rebound nicely to split the Global Series in Sweden against the Predators. Murashov gets his first NHL win, a shutout, in Europe. Don't think any other NHL goalie can claim that triple distinction.

On a bummer note, I turned on my TV Sunday morning to watch the second game of this series, and all I got was sound, no picture. Thought maybe it was just that channel, but soon found out it was the TV video board evidently took a dump. Mid-level Samsung, lasted only 4 1/2 years.
Went to Costco later and picked up a budget TCL as a replacement, but by the time I got it home, it was too late to start fiddling around with all the set up rigamarole, so I'll be trying that tonight after work. I miss the days when you could plug in the TV, hook up the cable or dish feed, and start watching. Nowadays there's apps to download, accounts to create, log-ins, internet set up, then a thousand fine-tunings of the picture/sound/etc. Not looking forward to those tasks.

Totally agree @dwm74 ! Hooking up a new TV set can take a whole afternoon. It would be so nice if it were quicker and simpler. Technology has gone too far in the wrong direction in some ways. Makes me long for the days of a basic TV + cable box + VCR setup of the old days. And a Nintendo in my case

I'm too cheap to buy a new TV, so I just stream to a dumb TV through an HDMI cable from an old Chromebook.
I live out in the sticks so an antenna doesn't pick up anything.
I gave my old little antenna to my son, he picked up an old TV and watches old fashioned broadcast TV.
It's almost like he's older than I am. lol.
