Well Colorado managed to blow the lead 3x but actually win one in OT, second night having to eat poutine. We will take the points

Penguins let the debut of their goalie of the future (Murashov) to get away from them in the third period and lose 3-2 to the Kings. Pens were leading 2-1 going into the third, but a couple of players with multiple Stanley Cups forgot how to backcheck, allowing the Kings two preventable goals. Bummer for the kid.

Stupid Leafs!
They're a really hard team to watch right now! What really grinds my gears is that they have almost the same team they had last year and for some reason (Blue and white disease) they haven't been able to retain any of their systems. They look totally lost in their own end.
Actually, they looked much better AFTER Mathews went down, playing a little better then earlier in the game.

The Sharks did it to the Wild in OT yet again! Celebrini is the real deal, and Team Canada better not miss the boat on him (and Bedard).

Early days, still, but the Sharks are above .500 and above the playoff line for the first time in what seems like forever.

Ovechkin finally gets goal #900, a slick backhander. St Louis goalie Binnington tries to keep the puck by shoving it inside his pants. The linesman had to come over and make him return the puck. I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again...that guy is such a blanking tool.

I saw that. Always though Binner was a tool as well but he had to have been doing that as a joke right? Zero chance he thought he'd actually get to keep that puck. I mean why do it in the first place, but had to be for laughs right?
