Took me a sec to realize you're not talking like Yoda.
But being in the totally wrong time zone and checking scores in the morning, I declare Blackhawks hope is still alive. Also funny that I see Bedard had a goal and an assist, but my natural sleepy reaction was surprise he wasn't -1 or -2 anyway.

Well, a 5-0 road opener for the Wild. Didn't get to watch but that's a great srat. We'll see what they do over the course of teh next 83 games to miss or back into the first round and then loose.

Sullivan's Revenge. After losing the season opener to the lowly Pens in NY, the Rangers roll in to Pittsburgh and trounce the home team 6-1.
It only took three games in for the Pens and Rangers both to play as expected.

Blackhawks hope watch: alive. After how the last couple of seasons' attempts to pick up some veterans really didn't work out (Corey Perry especially...) as planned except for Donato who did way better than expected, nice to see Burakovsky off to a good start scoring.
How 'bout them Leafs!? Back to back losses to the Red Wings seems not great. I don't think the Red Wings are projected to be a very strong team this year. Maybe the Buds are getting the losses out of the way early so they can focus on winning the rest of the way

Wild blow a 3-0 lead in the 3rd...again. Nice comeback in the OT and shootout though.
Ah, thank you. Seeing a "Stupid Leafs" post makes me feel that hockey is, indeed, really back.
Someone needs to tell the Leafs that the season has started! They look un-organized and un-interested.

Yay! The Avs play at 6 Central tomorrow. I get to watch again without taping my eyes open.
The Oilers are off to another rough start. After game 1 goaltending is not the issue.
Haven't watched any of those games. What is the malfunction?
I've seen low ouput by MCD, but was that a struggle on his part or defence getting it done?
I'm on the Ryan Warsofsky firing watch. If the Sharks start November winless (a real possibility), I think he's a goner.
