Who'd have thunk the Penguins would be 4-2-0 at this point? Gonna enjoy the competitiveness while it lasts.
The Wild - with the highest paid player in history - have assumed their place at the bottom of the conference.
The Oilers have 2 in the top 5 and are heading for the basement. You wouldn't want to make the season easy.
I so want to brag on my guys. But I know better. There are at least a couple of guys here that know what I mean.
The jersey looks great..! But I'm not sure how I feel about it 
The rub is that Arizona will get another team even though they have recently proven they can't support one (and Bettman was willing to die on that hill) but Quebec (Nordique) and any Canadian city will not.The jersey looks great..! But I'm not sure how I feel about it
It's OK. They'll just put another team in Atlanta and then move it to Canada. It's the most proven method of adding Canadian teams.
Not a fan! But then I was ticked off when they dropped the Bigfoot foot.
I assume there are lots of US-based Avs fans who have no affinity at all for the Nordiques. So I'm not really sure who these throwback jerseys appeal to? I guess there are some Avs fans in Quebec who remained fans of the franchise after the move... but surely there aren't that many. Someone like me - a Canadian nostalgic for a time when the Nordiques still existed - sort of just gets bummed out seeing the jersey, as nice as it looks.
As a way back Nordique fan that just happened to be on the receiving end of that team moving here, I still think it's pretty cool
I will be honest that I don't understand the de-coupling of the franchises like half of the players that showed up here hadn't played for the Nordiques for several seasons, it's like that history is supposed to just be lost? (that's not addressed to you.)

To be fair, Utah not wanting the history of Arizona and wanting a fresh start as far as things like win-loss percentage and seasons without a playoff appearance go...

That's the vibe I got, and like it's mocking the Quebec fans. Seems kind of mean when you consider that jersey has nothing to do with an avalanche or Colorado. When I first saw it, I thought it was a joke for the funny pictures thread. Then I noticed it was from the NHL page. Not cool in my opinion.

I hadn't thought about it that way.
It would be like our OKC Thunder rolling out Sonics uniforms. Not happening! There was tons of Sonic fan hate pointed at OKC after the move. Still is some even now.
