So you'd think...I was running one day in Nebraska and slipped on ice I didn't see, next thing you know I land face first on the pavement with my hands out and I go skidding. I very nearly had to call off the gig that night because of how bad my hands were injured. No breaks, but a lot of abrasions in very uncomfortable areas. But the show must go on so I sucked it up. Silly Florida boy can't deal with ice!

P.S. I'll be seeing you guys at the O2 in London. You following the same running order as the US dates with Jane's Addiction playing after NIN? Either way round makes for a grand night out to my mind...

Bike rack on the back of the bus is a recipe for all kinds of things: theft, damage, etc. Too many miles.

I can't run due to a Midnite Vultures-era knee injury. ;-) What I love are swimming, cycling, freeweights and elliptical trainers.

Wow!

I am speechless. What an absolutely awesome show. The setlist was incredible and totally different than WPB. I will admit that I was kinda "worried" about it, but to hear Terrible Lie, The Wretched, Head Down, La Mer, I Do Not Want This, The Downward Spiral, and Physical, amongst others, well I will now die a happy man. I would have liked to of heard Last and Reptile, but anyway.
The stage set-up and lighting was tight and superb, and the 4 of you looked and sounded flippin' great. Jane's and Sweet Sweeper rocked too.
Damn, that was the best hour and 20 minutes of my life. You guys gotta go see this tour.:bassist:

Welcome back to SOCAL, let the party begin! See you tomorrow night - rock on! Question, why is NIN playing the middle sets and not the final? Morello and Boot's rock - can't wait to see them as well.

Trent wanted to play into dusk, it's his favorite time for music. Also, he wanted to showcase Jane's, who are doing a more colorful, modern (LED's, moving lights) type light show. We're doing something way more severe, stripped, but still very intense. We all thought it would be best to have Jane's close, since that's the way they wanted to go production-wise. Which, by the way, is what we had during Lights In The Sky last year, but times ten.

Really cool to hear you guys are playing some tracks that haven't been on setlists for a while. I love 'the becoming'. Watched a youtube video of that and 'banged and blown through' with saul williams. I saw him in a tiny club last year - a great show (perhaps missing the live bass element :p). Must've been fun playing with him

You guys - killed it!! Absolutely, an epic rock show last night at Cricket. I was lucky enough to score a ticket to Vegas so I'm heading out tomorrow morning and will return for the Irvine show on Wed.

JMJ this has to give you goose bumps every time you take the stage. Just an incredible musical performance by all. Plus, I heard alot of nice comments about your skills from a number of fans last night that didn't know you - NOW they do! Rock on to Vegas....

Unfortunately, my trip is coming to an end and I only have one show left, tomorrow night at Irvine. But if you haven't seen the NIN/JA tour you are missing out!! JMJ is incredible - seriously one of the best. I don't know how he does it day in, day out. Just incredible – the set list changes every night and the band comes out and R_O_C_K_S!! :bassist:

I know a lot of you probably don’t like NIN:ninja:, but as this epic songwriter/arranger/composer/musician/producer decides it’s time to pursue other things in life you are definitely missing a once in a lifetime opportunity to see one of the gretest acts ever. And how better to close out an illustrious career than have a band mate like JMJ do it with you.

JMJ – you are an icon!!:D I hope your career continues to prosper and you share your experiences with us TBs. See you tomorrow night!:p
