No cell

Are these what you're talking about? Can they be bought on the market somewhere or do I need a service plan? Invalid Link Removed

AT&T has a few phones that are PTT (Push To Talk), construction grade. I think the Samsung Rugby is one, and there's a Motorola out there I used to own before killing it.

They aren't multimedia phones to the extent most would like but they do get your calls through and you can hear the speaker phone above average road noise, unlike most consumer-grade devices. They won't scratch up or break when dropped. They are deceptively expensive and cosmetically unattractive, which is why most people complain about the reception on their sleek, paper-thin phones.

i absolutly cannot handle being bored, because i need to keep my mind busy all the time (i have trouble sleeping because of this too).
so i really start flipping out any time that i have nothing to do (like being in a waiting room), so i cannot go a day without my cell phone.
i rarely make any calls, but i use just about every other feature that my Palm Treo 750 has.
i tend to check my emails compulsively LOL.
and i spend alot of time on the internet on my cell phone.
i have about 25 albums on my phone so that i can listen to my music whenever i get the chance.
the camera/camcorder is useful when i need to get a picture of something while i am out.
and of course, i use the alarm clock function to get up in the morning.

i am not into text messaging though...

Cake said it better than I ever can...

No phone No phone I just want to be alone today
No phone no phone
Ringing stinging
Jerking like a nervous bird
Rattling up against his cage
Calls to me thoughout the day
See the feathers fly
No phone No phone I just want to be alone today
No phone No phone
No phone no phone I just want to be alone today
Rhyming chiming got me working all the time
Gives me such a worried mind
Now I don't want to seem unkind
But god (it's such a crime)
No phone No phone I just want to be alone today
No phone no phone
No phone No phone I just want to be alone today
No phone no phone
Shaking quaking
Waking me when I'm asleep
Never lets me go too deep
Summons me with just one beep
The price we pay is steep
I've been on fire
And yet I've still stayed frozen
So deep in the night
My smooth contemplations will always be broken
My deepest concerns will stay buried and unspoken
No I don't have any change but here's a few subway tokens
No phone No phone I just want to be alone today
No phone No phone
No phone no phone I just want to be alone today
No phone no phone
No phone No phone I just want to be alone today
No phone No phone
