This reminds me of every girl singer I've ever gigged with. They all MUST drink whiskey while performing in public.
can't say that i do.Anyone else do this?
I never drank whiskey until I joined an otherwise all female band. They were into Maker's Mark, Jameson's amd Jack Daniels respectively and they all carried flasks. On our occasional weekend road trips they mixed cocktails in their hotel room after the gig.
They were the only hard drinking females I've ever worked with.
Tell them you’re on a Healthy diet, trying to lose weight, and thinking of going vegan. They'll want to change subjects, which will get them off your back.I don't drink much on or off the gig. There is no specific reason for it; 'just not my thing.
The huge challenge with that is everywhere I go and every gig I'm at, all of the other drunks automatically assume that I'm in some sort of recovery program and in denial about it, no matter how many times I say I'm not......
