Ordered mine today. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Planning to use it as a DI (and to add color to my Markbass LMIII stage rig) on my church gig and for recording demo clips.
You'll love it Steve

What does that mean for the people who all appear to 'center' their controls at noon, assuming it works similarly to the FTS?
I run it into a shuttle 6.0 though fx return
It is a game changer..and it give me a bit of the taste like b-12 which i was very keen to get one..
I assume this means mid-scoop but appreciate the questions. I am interested in hearing more about what the EQ does also. Also curious about the low cut switch and when that might typically be used.
Otherwise, I'm wondering if a more direct comparison might be something like the Kern v. the Noble. What's the EQ? They don't come out and state it on their page, but from the talk of 'classic' my first thought is a FTS type setup, especially with 12AX7's involved.
Jule's unit is a unique creation as far as I'm concerned, partly having to do with it having a tube rectifier, but also with the sensitivity control (which isn't necessarily a pre-gain), and also having the baxandall with lots of +/- going on.
Bypass the preamp of the head to enjoy the real sound of noble tube preWhat is the advantage of this vs running into the main input which would allow you to also use the EQ on your Shuttle? Does the Shuttle preamp add noise or some other badness?

The shuttle is a good one no problem at all
Bottom line - try it both ways I suppose (which I will on my Little Mark III). I guess it depends on whether the preamp section of your amp colors the tone when set flat. I might use an A/B box to make the comparison easier.
@Jack Roan will there be any official hardcase?

I've tried the jule dove cage and a reddi over last month of gigs and just ordered a new noble preamp today to try. Looks like it may be a top contender in my little shot out!.
I'm intrested how the Noble compares to those two, especially to the Monique.
I actually use the low cut 95% of the time. I'm almost always playing a Callowhill MPB 5 these days and if I leave the low cut off, it's just too much thickness, especially to the board and then back through my in-ears. I'm also a 12 o'clock EQ guy, so I still have plenty of room to put some thick back in. That's all probably just me, but it's what I get lots of guys to be happy with, for sure.
I may be wrong, but I red somewhere that the eq controls on the Noble are boost only because designed as a Fender tone stack, albeit with custom features.
So, eq controls at 12 o' clock means bass and treble boost. If you are experimenting too much fatness and bass it could be worth twisting that knobs, at least to try the unboosted tone, fully counter clockwise. In the end, that's why mr. Noble put those knobs, they are intended to be turned if necessary
