Noises that bother you.

2. The "clink" sound of a hardball hinting an aluminum bat compared to the nice sound of a real wood bat.
3. When stopped at a red light, the sound of screeching tires and brakes right behind me.

Can't stand this either. If I am in a high end expensive restaurant and kids are screaming, I give stink eye to the parents. But with that said, it does not seem to do much good.

Same. I disconnected my doorbell about a dozen years ago and never bothered hooking it back up.

I can handle other kids screaming - easy, just ignore it. When it's your own kid, however....;-)

On the flipside, one of my favourite noises in a small 2-stroke outboard motor on a boat crossing the lake at dusk. That is the sound of summer for me.

Snoring. There is absolutely no sound in the world I hate more than snoring. I have a visceral reaction to it. Basically any nasal or gutteral sound associated with breathing is worse than nails on a chalkboard. But snoring is particularly bad. I simply cannot 'get used to it' or ignore it. Ear plugs only help nominally. If there is ANY hint of snoring that I can perceive I go absolutely cray cray.

I agree 100%. It just ain't natural.

The sound of a real wood bat hitting a baseball might be the single best sound in sports. And I'm not even much of a baseball fan.
