Noll bass preamp ?

I can't tell you how much I appreciate the help. In looking at the old electronic set up, there is a white clip on it, like in the link you supplied. On the new pre amp, there is no such white clip.
I emailed Hans in Germany, as well as the Noll people in Germany. Hopefully they will have a good suggestion. In the end, my father-in-law is a wood worker, so I'm not super concerned about it.
Oh, and I keep forgetting to mention that the bass is passive in its current state. New electronics are active.

If there are 3 wires on the old setup, you can either try to recreate it with your existing jack or get a new one (good as time as any with new electronics) and then ask Warwick how they would suggest connecting an aftermarket preamp.

...Granted they may not be thrilled with the idea of anyone mucking with their proprietary system, but you never know.

Also, now that you know about this, I bet you can search the forums for tips as well... I know there are Warwick bass clubs here, I bet their corvette users can help better than I at this point.

Have you given any consideration to Delano, or Glockenlang, even a Demeter. Two jazz basses, one with the John East J Retro Deluxe 4knob preamp and the other with a Demeter both using Aguilar pickups.

The KEY (at least for me since I can be a klutz) to making any jack last has been to use a wireless system. I use the Line 6 G10 and am generally very pleased. Any jack will eventually have problems due to your cable getting stepping on or other unintended hangups. This type of thing is hard on your cable too! Barrel jacks tend to be harder to replace.

Yes,Noll preamps are installed on some high-end basses AND electric uprights,but I wouldn't judge by the "...what's good for a Ritter must be good for my bass..." principle.Most often,a given by-product is choosen to be part of something bigger for some specific reasons that simply don't fit in other situations.When I said about my experiences with Aggies and Barts,I meant strictly about these preamps installed on identical (or very similar) basses as mine,so it isn't a wide "Aggie-on-Fender vs.Noll-on-Warwick" issue here.

Thinking of putting the Noll 4 band in my Spector euro lx with EMG TW pickups. It has a Spector tone pump preamp now. Would this be a good choice to replace the tone pump with the Noll?

There are 2 different "4 band" Nolls... one has Low mid/High mid the other has Mid/Mid Freq...

I wish I'd gone with the latter instead of the dual mids.

The big thing to remember is that the Vol/blend pot is *really* tall because its really 3 pots + the A/P push/pull.

If your bass is much thinner than the "normal" 1.75"-ish thickness, it may not fit well, just a thought.
