Nominate your favorite single cab solution for *most* gigs

I used to go around with a Markbass STD 6x10". Light, aesthetically very appealing, powerful.

Then I discovered Mesa, and although I am absolutely in love with my 2x 1x15" Powerhouse Standard stack, I'll admit that most of the times I carry just one with me, and it's more than enough. The full stack, though, is glorious, to say the least!

Hartke 4x10...either HyDrive or XL series. Plenty of power, volume and clarity. Good for big outdoor or small indoor gigs.

Bergantino NV112T. Basically, it's a custom version of the NV212T. Sealed cabinet, ceramic speaker, 8ohm resistance. For the odd time I need something more I either top it with a second NV112T, or an Ampeg 210 AV.

I have gigged for probably 10 years on my Avatar B210neo... I have since retired it and use a Fender Rumble 800 combo which is even lighter.

No matter which cabs I try as stand alone, I keep going back to my Berg HDN210.
For it’s Tone, SPL, size and WEIGHT I find it hard to beat. And if I need more than that, adding my CN112 for the “Bergantino 322” is all I’ll need for the gigs I‘M playing.

Phil Jones C4 cabinet for me although I usually use two.
I sometimes I use a Phil Jones Cabinet 27 for small gigs,house parties,etc.

as always, my traynor tc112 with after market emminence deltalite ii neo.

Super efficient, amazing sounding, excellent control over the horn (nothing to subtle through to "you thought SPECTOR basses were bright??")

it's so light that it feels like an empty plastic crate.

I use it even for PA when I need to when doing small gigs.

It has never let me down, never been too quiet, never sounded anything other than amazing.

Only thing better would be another one so I can go 4 ohms with higher power handling and double the driver surface area.

By the way - while I praise my traynor, I have heard first hand AB examples of my actual cab as I use it with this driver compared to some of those other high end cabs with the same driver aftermarket.

A couple of them, I believe one was bergantino, had audibly more lower midbass from the same signal on the same amp (my amp). So they must be doing something internally with dual reflex or the various technologies used in subwoofers to spread the port frequencies through 2 ranges using 2 or 3 ports... something like that (I've designed and built speakers like that, but not for high power pro audio live use). But I didn't like the sound any better, it's just different, and if price were the same then I can't say I'd jump at the berg sound over the traynor sound... maybe, I dunno, but it's not like night and day.

But for those looking for a couple extra DB in that frequency range - you CAN do better than my traynor, for much more cost.

For me, that´s definitely the superb MarkBass 102 Marcus Miller with the wedge design!
Extremely well balanced, with a superb low end and crisp highs! And it´s pretty compact and very light as well!
