BC Rich NJ Classic Bich. I used to have one of these - NJ Classics weren't even expensive new, about $500-600 at the time. Longer scale 25.5" as opposed to the Exotic Classics at 24.375", to boot!

I'm trying to find another and they're now rare as hens' teeth, so yeah.... Dangit.

I traded a Fender Rhodes for a 4x CD rom burner when they were both worth about $150. I never really thought that keyboards would follow guitars with vintage stuff - it's a crummy piano imitation right? Right?

For me it would be an Harmonica. My grandfather used to play it ALL the time and he was very fluent on it.
Looking back it would have been cool to have him pass down the knowledge musically.

I have basses, guitars, keyboard, trumpet, and drums, all of which i can play ok. But at home we also have a flute (wife's) and a ukulele (daughter's). I gotta learn those before i can go buying new stuff!

I might buy myself a cello when I retire though.

If you're going to wish for a Mellotron M400 you should at least wish for one with a nice case.
I guess I'm fortunate that I obsessively hunted down a M400 and Jupiter 8s, 6s, MiniMoogs, PolyMoogs, 2600s etc and am now retired and housebound more or less.
Of course I'd still love to own many things I do not have such as this:

In that case I have a set of "student spoons" for you …. seriously.
they are like 2 wooden spoons that are cut from a single block of wood. they are held back to back about 1/2" apart so that you can focus on the playing strokes without worrying about how you are holding the spoons.
I my drummer days I learned all kinds of percussion, including nearly every type of drum including steel drums and Bodhrans.
