non pedal HPF

Entirely possible I screwed something up, but the schematic confirms my guestimate FX loop 100 ohm source impedance, 10k input impedance.

Probably not your thing, but it could potentially fit under your amp. Still need 9v. When I found out that Dusty Hill (ZZ Top) always used the Micro THUMPINATOR (sfx = UK). I decided to try it. I like it.

I actually have it wired after the Ashmaker then into the BASSRIG. There is an Eventide PowerMax under the board. So I attached it to the BASSRIG with 3M Industrial Velcro and low profile EBS Flat Gold Patch cables.

Passive 2nd order HPF exist, why would they not work for our applications?
@mmbongo posted a device that seem to implement such filter.


I think you will find that without buffering the second RC section, you will end up pretty close to 6dB/octave and a low Q.

I can see it causing loading issues with a passive bass ! Could be wrong :D

Looking at the plot, the first 2 octaves show ~6dB/octave.
