Not doing the search is being lazy on his part, not answering it would be on the part of someone else, or:

Does anyone else see irony here?

It's okay for me to be too lazy to answer a question, but it's not okay for him/her to be too lazy to search a term and wade through 30+ pages of info for an answer.

Think about this for a second now.....If you did that for P vs J, you'd also need one for "What's the best metal bass?", "Flats or Rounds?", "Rosewood vs Maple", "EBMM Vs Fender", etc., etc., etc.. Before you know it, you'd have five pages of stickies to weed through before you could read current posts.

How about one sticky with links to the thread, unless they aren't already included somewhere else.

Anyway it would be far more constructive than posting fail pics all over the place.

But:

Maybe a thread in the Wiki would be a better idea.
